Welcome! Our home offers a mid century modern feel with tons of natural light, 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 1 office, a fully-equipped kitchen and many amenities for large groups. The home is tucked in a quiet neighborhood of Marquette and only a few minutes to the beautiful beaches of Lake Superior.

It's just 2 miles from historical downtown and 1.5 miles to beautiful Presque Isle. Also, it’s close to the well known Big Bay road that offers many trails for hiking, biking, and walking along the big lake.

So accommodating

Good place in a great town!

Nice property in a quiet, middle-class subdivision. Comfortable and clean, with extra towels and sheets available. Laundry room was large and outfitted well. Kitchen/dining/living room grouped for great socializing. We would rent again if the situation arises.

Great lodging for the Marquette Marathon

We were in Marquette from Boston for the marathon and to connect with family from Minneapolis. The house is spacious, comfortable and clean with a good kitchen and nice grill. Parking was easy and access to the Superior Dome and downtown Marquette were convenient. Notably, 2 of the bedrooms in this split level are downstairs where the floor was a bit cool, but there were area rugs in each room.

Great for mountain bikers

This property was perfect for our family of six. There is access to mountain bike trails literally feet from the front door. The owner was easy to get in touch with and quick to answer questions. We would stay here again!

Great Place to Stay

The property is in a great location. The house is very clean and comfortable with plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked, and some toiletries are provided. The laundry room is spacious. Laundry items are provided along with an ironing board and drying rack. We will stay here again when visiting Marquette.

Family vacation, and class reunion.

Clean, comfortable, well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Wish it was closer to downtown.

Great Stay!

This was a lovely home, perfect location, and wonderful hosts! While we were there the refrigerator decided to stop working and within just a few hours a brand new one was delivered! You would have thought this was a big deal, but it Ended up being almost a non-issue. So appreciative of how quickly and completely the hosts responded. We would definitely stay here again!

GIRLS HIKING WEEKEND IN MARQUETTE

This was the third time we have stayed at this property- so obviously I think it's a good choice. We love the location, the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and the communal kitchen. Thanks!

Wedding weekend

We had a friend’s wedding and the location was perfect. We were able to go out to dinner and the bars easily and come home to a lot of space to hangout. Each room had a fan, towels, and extra wedding if needed. Lots of extra towels in the linen closet. They supplied toiletries. They allowed us to check in early since we were traveling from so far away. I would stay there again if needed.

Sled dogs & Ice Caves

The VRBO was perfect for our stay, had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a little better water pressure from the shower head. This was not something that would prevent me from staying here again. thanks for the great accomodations

Second Time Around- Just as Good as the First

This was the second time I have stayed at this property - and I was equally impressed this time. We had a group of five women who were in Marquette for hiking, skiing, etc. The layout of the home proved perfect for this type of group. The individual bedrooms afforded sufficient space and privacy and the large kitchen and open living area gave us enough space to gather, eat and hang out. I just discovered the bike/hiking trail literally next door to the property and was thrilled! I plan to return!

Great house and location

Really great spacious house with a friendly and helpful host. We stayed here so that we could ride our bikes to the Noque North Trails. Prime location, ample parking, and a solid kitchen for cooking big meals. Will definitely stay here again.

Good stay

This was a good place for a group of 5 to have both separate and shared spaces. The kitchen functions well. Beds are good. Sleep was interrupted a bit by what I think was the sump pump flushing a few times one night.

Great place to stay for our son’s wedding

My son & his fiancé love Marquette and wanted to be married on the shores of Lake Superior. We chose Kelly’s place as our “home base” for the weekend. It was a great location for all of the weekend activities. We appreciated all of the provided amenities from comfortable beds & pillows, to washer, dryer, iron, toiletries, etc. We hope to stay again!

nice house in a scary hood

The house was great. The neighborhood was sketchy. Police were called to the neighbors for a domestic disturbance. This house was rowdy all night long. There was also a house of hoarders around the corner and a terrible smell was coming from that home as they were cleaning it out with a giant dumpster out front.

Great visit, super clean house

House was accurately described per listing. About 2 min from NMU. House was very clean, well furnished, perfect in every way. Bike trail was just next to the neighbors house - we loved that. Went on bike rides each morning. Hope to come back and stay again!

Well suited for our Family/Work Trip

Two small families stayed as the Dad's had a work conference at NMU. We were able to enjoy hiking Sugarloaf Mtn. together and dining downtown, just a short drive. The Girls/Kids enjoyed biking to downtown and Presque isle, hitting the park downtown and a beach... and enjoying their first Pasty! The home was clean and inviting, and the storage shed was perfect for our bikes (I trust if was ok we used it)! The extra room/office in the basement was perfect for a pack-and-play for the baby of the group who prefers solitude when sleeping! Needed one thing from the owner, and it was met efficiently. Certainly recommend, a solid place to stay and enjoy what Marquette has to offer.
