Weekend stay in Atlanta

Property was perfect - clean, well-equipped in a beautiful neighborhood. Rachael & David were great hosts - very accommodating and helpful with suggestions regarding restaurants and activities in the area. I would highly recommend!

Nice Place for a Family Reunion Getaway

The house was clean, well appointed, had all the amenities described, comfortably accommodated eight people and was wheelchair accessible. Furthermore, the owner quickly accepted our request to extend our stay by one day and our request for permission to bring a pet dog. The owner requested we pick up after the dog, which we did. And we picked up much of the waste from the owner’s dogs, at least 20 bags, so we could access the lawn. The owner’s dogs often roamed the property and, unfortunately, dog waste littered much of the back yard. That was the only blemish on a very pleasant stay.

Great Buckhead Location

We enjoyed our stay in this guest house. It was very convenient to our work event. Owners were very helpful checking us in and available if we needed anything. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely Home

What a beautiful home! Rachel and David were wonderful and very helpful!!! There were 5 of us, all adults and there was plenty of room for all of us! Beautiful area in Atlanta, close to everything! We so enjoyed staying there and next time in Atlanta, that will be our choice of places to stay!!! Thank you SO much Rachel and David!!! Susan

High end neighborhood in Atlanta

The Barton’s were very responsive. The gas fireplace was broken and couldn’t be fixed. They were kind to give us candles to put in the fireplace, though. What a lovely garden, including chickens and deer living there on 1.5 acres in an excellent location. Highly recommended.

Perfect!!!!

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding at the Swan House/Atlanta History Center. It was the absolutely perfect place for us to stay! The house was so beautiful, tastefully decorated, and clean. It is located on a gorgeous wooded lot tucked back from the main road. Our hosts were so kind, gracious, and accommodating. We had several family members over the day after the wedding and enjoyed grilling out on their lovely patio and watching college football. Staying here made our overall wedding weekend experience a delight! Thank you!!!

Comfortable home

Rachel and David's guest house is a great set-up. We had several friends staying there for a reunion. Sleeping for 8 in 4 separate rooms worked well. The kitchen has good equipment. The outdoor courtyard has nice seating and a dining table. Rachel and David were very helpful with getting the patio heater set-up on a chilly night. We also enjoyed an indoor fire in the gas fireplace. The setting is private and bucolic.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home!

10 out of 10! We absolutely loved this beautiful guest house. It is a lovely 2 story home in an exclusive area of Atlanta. It was sufficiently spacious for our family of 4 adults, yet cozy and comfortable as well. The house is beautifully appointed (with some cool architectural detail) and had everything we needed. It is close to some excellent dining and shopping as well as the Atlanta History Center. Our hosts Rachael and David were extremely gracious and helpful. They were immediately responsive to any question we had. We would not even consider staying anywhere else on future trips to Atlanta.

Beautiful, Relaxing, City retreat

I like to provide honest reviews including both pros and cons. We own rental properties too, and I always want to know what people really think. So, 5/5 but always room for improvement :) We stayed here while our daughter had a surgery at Northside hospital. It was not far away from the hospital, grocery stores, etc. we were back and forth a lot. The hurricane knocked out power for two nights and the owners, which are right next door in the attached main house, brought candles, flashlights and dry ice. They had two dogs that were friendly, not too much barking, unless they were gone and other workers were on the property. The house itself is a gem, but it is old. It does have a musty smell that some may not care for. We got used to it, but important to note for people with allergies/respiratory issues. The temperature needed to stay constant at 73 degrees, but we were never uncomfortable. The property is gorgeous with big tall trees and seclusion from the road. There were some kitchen items that I needed, but I made it work anyway. A mixer, cookie sheets, and older pots and pans that didn’t have the proper sized lids. There were plenty of spices, oils and commonly used products that were definitely a bonus! There was laundry detergent too! Everything was clean and tidy. The furniture in the living room was antique and worn, but plenty of blankets and pillows to get cozy. The owners were responsive, helpful and sweet! We really enjoyed our stay! I hope this helps!

Well equipped home in a perfect location

Home was very clean, pictures online were exactly what we expected. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. Location was perfect for wedding festivities near by. Will definitely book here again!

Great weekend in Atlanta to see the Braves!

Rachael’s place is wonderful! It is exactly as pictured. Check in/out was super easy. She was readily available for any questions. AND she even took our dogs out for us when we were gone longer than expected (due to a rain delay at the game). The house is beautiful and she makes sure to have everything that you could possibly need. I will definitely recommend her place to all my friends and family traveling to ATL!

Beautiful house with great city access

We had a delightful stay visiting our son who lives in the city. The house was beautifully appointed and accommodated our family of adults and teenaged boys. The owners were very friendly and responsive when we had questions. We would love to stay again.

Great location

We had a buying trip in downtown Atlanta. This location was VERY convenient, lovely neighborhood, in a beautiful old home. We spent four days there and loved it. Rachel was easy to work with.

Amazing property! Amazing hosts!

This has to be the most beautiful VRBO home we have ever rented. The house is quite large, yet very welcoming and cozy. It is perfectly decorated in lovely antique furnishings with beautiful accents and decor. The property is private, provides excellent parking and is pet friendly. Our hosts were absolutely fabulous. They provided excellent communication prior to our stay. Everything was exactly as described. We were extremely happy with our stay. We highly recommend this home.

Perfection

We had a group of adults and one infant, the house was the perfect sanctuary for us! The location is 15-30 minutes (dependent on traffic of course!) to downtown Atl, so it was peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful neighborhoods for our walks but close enough to everything!! Rachel was so communicative, kind and accommodating. Their guest house really was the perfect house for our crew. Very grateful for how it worked out!

Great stay

This 4 bedroom guesthouse was perfect for our stay in Atlanta for a wedding -- two couples, one single, and one dog. Highly recommended - clean, comfortable, nicely furnished, lots of room for all, in a lovely neighborhood. If you come by car in October, you might want to bring some car blankets to cover the hood and roof, as we did - parking is under an oak tree that drops lots of acorns!

Wonderful Place to Stay

We had an amazing stay! I stayed here with my husband, in laws and 2 small kids for a wedding nearby and we absolutely loved it. The house was spacious and the property was beautiful - my kids loved the chickens!! Our hosts were very friendly and professional, and the neighborhood was gorgeous. I would absolutely stay again if we find ourselves in Atlanta again!
