Nice property, pet friendly, make sure to stop by or bring all supplies prior to arrival. The road to get there is long and winding.

We had such a wonderful time! The views on the way up were absolutely amazing. Gatlinburg is a fantastic place, and the cabin was perfect—everything we needed was there, plus a binder with information about the area and family activities. The horseback riding at Five Oaks was incredible; the people there were so kind and caring, which made the experience even more special. More beautiful memories made at this wonderful place.

The house was beautiful. There were a few things not working correctly. Overall we enjoyed our stay but some things need to be fixed.

Great place enjoyed our stay

Great place enjoyed our stay … few recommendations fix bath tub upstairs no water comes out & upgrade bed it’s sinking in the center making it like sleeping on a taco other than that wonderful place very quiet & peaceful .. Becareful to no scrape your car when leaving driveway

Cozy getaway

Well kept property with updated appliances, pool table, and working hot tub. Utilized the wood burning fire place which was relaxing. Cute accents throughout the cabin. Fairly private area and quiet.

Great Little Cabin

The cabin was great. No real issues. The hot tub motor was making a very loud noise when we arrived and we called the management company and they sent someone over to deal with it right away. The driveway is crazy steep. But our BMW made it up and down. If it snows or there is freezing rain a 4x4 would be needed with chains. We would go back. As for pets, a 100 yard walk is required to get them on semi level ground for break time.

Skip this one

Toilet wouldn’t flush, sink clogged, jacuzzi switch broke, terrible steep grade, very dark cabin, not enough light anywhere. Light bulbs out, several wasps in cabin flying by our beds. We stay at cabins every year and never had these problems. Very disappointed with Above ole Smokys Clouds.

Not Pet Friendly

After a 9hr drive we were excited to finally be at the cabin. It was a long winding road to get there but ok. The cabin is very nice but there are no views except for the trees right in front of your balcony. All the furniture was so uncomfortable both my husband and I had achey backs the who time and barely got any sleep. Oh and if you want to use the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom make sure you start the water about 2hrs ahead of time. I starter my bath water st 7:30pm and it still wasn't full enough to cover the jets until 9pm. By then I was over it. I will definitely be back to Tennessee but not at these cabins.

They were quick with communication and sent out a person to fix the shower knob. There was a washer and dryer however if you want to utilize that amenity, you’ll need to bring your own supplies. There wasn’t a grill as pictured so we adjusted our grocery decisions. The driveway is steep as mentioned and you cannot turn right into it if in a truck, we had to back into the driveway due to the angle. We did get to see a bear!

We'd like to clarify that while the cabin does include a washer and dryer, we provide only a starter supply of essentials intended for the first 24 hours of your stay. Guests planning to do multiple loads of laundry may wish to bring additional detergent and supplies. We're sorry for the confusion regarding the grill, as it is not listed as an amenity. Steep and winding driveways are common throughout the Smoky Mountains, and while the driveway is described in our listing, we understand that larger vehicles, especially trucks, may find maneuvering more challenging. The cabin itself is very nice and clean for the most part, but I would not suggest taking your dogs here especially if they are older or have a little harder time getting around because theres no real room for them to walk or run unless you take them down on the actual road. The lights in the bathrooms are horrible and you pretty much have to take a shower in the dark.

Enjoyable Relaxing Stay

We had a very nice stay. Inside was nice and ready for us to arrive. Hot Tub was nice. Jacuzzi tub jets did not work. Not much of a view from house but it was amazing location. We saw 6 bears while staying there. We had dogs, we walked everyday. Don't except to not walk your dog at this location because there is no grass around cabin. But the walking is amazing there. Very nice and relaxing area. Would go back again. Check in and check out was very easy. We had a slight issue with cable and maintenance came out within 30 minutes. It was fixed and no issues otherwise.

Beautiful log cabin

The log cabin was very nice and very clean ! I reported to house keeping the 1st floor sink was clogged, not a big issue. The only negative thing I could think of was the drive way was challenging, glad I had a jeep , ha ha

Disappointed

We decided on this property because it had a jacuzzi tub and a hot tub and were looking forward to using both. The hot tub was cold and didn't work our entire stay. We reached out to the maintenance staff and they came out and looked at it but did not communicate with us about if it would be fixed. The jacuzzi tub took over an hour to fill just a few inches of the tub and the jets did not work. We were super disappointed with those two things.

Cozy little cabin

From the booking to the checkout process, everything was very convenient and easy. The property was perfect for our getaway and was close enough to the action yet out just enough to truly relax and unwind. We especially enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. We will be back!
