We enjoyed our stay very much and really took advantage of the hot tub and fire pit daily. We had bears visit the cabin during our stay as well. It was the perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle. The main problem were the ants. This time of year they come out heavy so I understand but they were a bit overwhelming in the kitchen area.

Was a lovely property with all we needed to enjoy the March surroundings. The hot tub was amazing while it snowed. Very clean. Would just recommend to bring a couple extra blankets in the colder weather season, especially if you are a person whom gets cold easily. That being said the heat did wonders for keeping you warm. Great experience!! Thank you

Incredible location just 10 minutes up the mountain from the Smoky Mountain Park exit. We had luck on our drive up, as we received snow due to the elevation of the mountain. We also saw a family of bears who got incredibly close, walking around the porch outside the cabin. Make sure to secure that food!The host provides about 1/4 cord of firewood to burn, which kept the accommodation nice and toasty. It was incredible. Pigeon Forge is also just 15-25 minutes away, traffic depending. Overall a fantastic, cute experience. We didn't want to leave!Will be planning to stay here again.

Our stay at the gingerbread cabin was awesome. They provided firewood for the indoor fire place. The hot tub was great. My only negative and this does not have anything to do with our cabin, but i have to admit it was pretty scary driving up Ober Mountain, There are no guard rails on the majority of the mountain you have to be super careful. going up there..The property itself was absolutely beautiful great hot tub two bedrooms, pool table which my husband and I enjoyed very much sat outside in the morning looking at the mountain. The weather was pretty good when we were there, it did get a little chilly at night time, but we utilized the hot tub a lot. I would recommend staying at the Gingerbread House to everyone.

Wonderful location!!

My husband and I spent a weekend away and we couldn't have asked for a better location! The cabin was cozy and inviting and the hot tub is a major plus! Very clean and had everything we needed.

We loved staying at the cabin!! It is in a great location and close to all the places we wanted to go to. Great communication regarding what would be available to us and what we would need to bring as far as supplies. Definitely in an area where you will get to see bears up close 🙂.

The cabin was in an amazing location. It was clean. But not perfect. But im very ocd. I wish there gad been oven mits but luckily i had been camping and had one. The grill had seen better days. I used it but it was abiut to fall over. The bottom was rusted out. The hot tub was also a vokd tub. But the staff were amazing and offered to cone right out. Too bad we were leaving the next day. The hole place was just the cutest cabin. Decorated perfectly.

Quiet cabin

We had a great time, saw 1 yearling cub and 1 adult black bear very early in the mornings right on the upper deck and walkway. lots of chipmunks and a ton of leaves falling. Very quiet and peaceful cabin would highly recommend to anyone looking for a very quiet get away.
