Fully furnished with all new furniture and all the necessary amenities to enjoy your stay . Three spacious bedrooms with large closets. Two full bathrooms. The Florida Room offers the best view which looks out the rear of the home onto the water and watch boats pass by . Garage available for a car. Association solar heated pool steps away. You can dock your boat on the private dock right out the back patio. Easy water access to Lemon Bay. Can even fish from the private dock right out the back patio. Enjoy daily walks on the walking path along the sea wall right outside the back door. Lots of wildlife to view from back patio, dolphins, manatees, blue herons ,etc
Five minute drive to the beautiful Mansota Key Beach, Englewood Beach , Stump Pass State Park and Lemon Bay. Attractions include: boating, fishing, biking, kayaking, stand up paddleboards, beach yoga, shark's teeth hunting, shelling, dolphin, manatee and bird watching and miles of pristine beaches for you to experience.

Nice getaway

This is a great location to stay. The floors needed a good scrubbing and the drains in the bathrooms were extremely slow. Pillows were smelly and couldn't use. Fortunately, I had my travel pillow. The neighbors were very nice and helpful.

Englewood Surprise

We have been coming to the Venice area for 8 years and have stayed at a number of locations but this home was one of the best. It is located on a lagoon right across from a marina. Boats sail by very slowly and quietly. The morning sun hits the patio and it is a great place to sit with coffee and observe the wild life. We have seen Manatees, Dolphins and jumping fish in the lagoon and a Great Blue Heron occasionally visits and comes right up on the patio while I am sitting there. The are also Sandhill Cranes and 5 landed in the yard. The home satisfied all of our needs and the owners were very responsive and courteous when we had questions. Englewood Isles is a very safe and quiet neighborhood and there is a community pool just a block away. If you are into cycling and walking the local roads are quiet and safe. We highly recommend this place and would return here anytime.

Great accommodation and location

Our planned 3 month stay was cut short by the call home from our Prime Minister in March 2020. It was a huge disappointment to have to leave. The house was perfect for us - 4 adults. A nice area to walk with beautiful scene out the back of the house. It is close to lots of great restaurants and lots of things to do. We enjoyed visiting Venice, the beaches, Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda, restaurants on the beach in Engelwood, the weekly Englewood market, the Rookery. We could sit out on the back deck in the evening and talk to people walking by, watch the fish jump, the birds and enjoy the lovely weather. The house was well equipped with everything needed. The owner was very responsive and helpful. If we ever decide to come back to this area we will definitely see if we can rent this house again.

I thought I was in heaven

First of all, this property was amazing. The beauty of wildlife surrounding this house was outstanding. Close to the beach...what more could you ask for? Most importantly, the owners are so delightful, responsive, kind.
