captains walk 458

this was our second stay at captains walk. the unit was very nice, comfortable and extremely convenient on the ground floor with access to the pool and beach from the patio. we typically rent a 3 bedroom but this trip a 2 bedroom was adequate. the furniture was very comfortable and the AC worked great. the beach is great at palmetto dunes.

Grand parents rent next to grandchildren and their parents

Good location, clean and attractive. Some porch furniture rickety. A towel rack was unstable. We would go back

Late vacation at the beach

Loved the proximity to the beach and how close the unit was to the pool. The location of the villas on the island is also very convenient to restaurants and other activities. The unit was clean, however showed a bit of wear in a few areas, i.e. spattered, unclean walls and very worn and somewhat dirty patio chair cushions. Did not detract from the overall visit but just wanted to mention it as a gentle suggestion to the owners.

Nice property

We loved the location, just wished we were a few floors higher for an Ocean View. Access to the best beach on the island was very nice.

A bit tired

We have stayed at Captain’s Walk in other units before and love the property. This unit was a bit more tired than others we have stayed at. If pillows were upgraded and lightbulbs/lighting were brighter, that would be a great start.

Unbeatable location

We couldn't have asked for anything more. We love being able to cook in a kitchen, and the washer and dryer and dishwasher were a huge plus. Walking straight out the back door to the beach is great—but would be even better if guests were given a key or code to the back door! The beach near this complex was very quiet, even when we could see crowds near neighboring buildings, and the pool didn't seem to be popular either, which was great when the beach got too windy. All in all, perfect vacation, wouldn't change a thing.
