The Retreat at Geronimo Oaks

A relaxing dream with a view! This unique modern farmhouse with a separate guest house can accommodate 12 people-- so bring the family. Our beautiful hill country vibes will make your weekend relaxing and our spacious spreads will ensure you and your guests enjoy their stay with a little elbow room.

The Retreat is also equipped with a large open air (or doors rolled down) barn-area to keep your guests out of the weather. The barn is equipped with tables, chairs, and an outdoor gas grill for your festivities (comfortably seats 60 guests). Plenty of space to let your hair down, free of stress and screens. We do not have any TV's on the property, however we provide free wifi for anyone that wants to stay plugged in.

Close proximity to New Braunfels, Seguin, and San Marcos for all of your needs. Plus, just a 45 minute drive to San Antonio and Austin so plenty of amenities for the more urban tastes.

Family Vacation

Wonderful experience in a very clean and secluded atmosphere. Beautiful scenery and we had everything available to us that we needed to enjoy the family outing. Close to restaurants and shopping as well as entertainment! A+++++

The barn and the views especially were worth every penny! Our rehearsal dinner was great!I loved that there were plenty of tables and chairs. Soooo many compliments on the barn. Loved the sliding doors. The house was ok, almost great . Not enough towels, kitchen utensils. We had the best time!!! Thank you so much!!

Exactly what we needed

Plenty of room for our large family and their Spouses! Beautiful setting! Bonus, barn where we hosted a wonderful rehearsal dinner fo 50 plus people with plenty of room! Wonderful experience! Thank you!

Great property for wedding prep

We stayed here and had our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. Lots of space for the dinner. Was super convenient having a place this close to the venue to stage all the stuff we needed. Highly recommend.

Family Wedding

Such a fabulous place to stay! Right around the corner from Geronimo Oaks wedding venue making it easy to set up/take down for the wedding. The party barn is also a perfect location for family and the wedding party to gather for a fun and relaxed rehearsal dinner! Highly recommend this property and the manager was extremely helpful!!

Little house on the hill

The property was amazing, it exceeded all of our expectations! Our large family fit very comfortably. The house was spectacular with a new rustic feel. The beds were so comfy. Our favorite part was the building outside we ate all of our meals out there and the views from the building were just priceless! Would definitely stay again!!!

Perfect locale, close to wedding venue

Nice home. Bigger than it looks from road. Perfect for wedding at nearby venue. Not a bad price if you split with others= roomy. One minor issue: need to bring hair dryer, shampoo and shower soap. Enjoyed the country life 👍

Hidden Gem!!!!

This place is awesome!! Rented it for my friends and family to attend my daughter’s wedding at Geronimo Oaks. The barn was perfect for the Rehearsal Dinner with plenty of room for a large gathering! Lots of space for everyone to sleep and relax without being on top of each other. The washer and dryer was a huge benefit and the kitchen well equipped for cooking. There are also plenty of bathrooms for a big group. We all truly enjoyed our stay and it was a perfect Compliment to the wedding venue near by. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!!!

Perfect to use with Geronimo Oaks Venue

My daughter got married on a Saturday at the venue next door. We rented from Thurs.-Monday. to make sure there was enough time for friends and festivities. It is very rustic and the only rental that close to the venue, but it is in the country and perfect for bridal party convenience.The staff is extra accommodating and answered whenever we had a question. We did rehearsal bbq in the barn and hair and make-up in the house with PLENTY of room. Highly recommend it, especially for a wedding at Geronimo Oaks!

4th of July week in Texas Hill County

We spent our yearly family vacation at The Retreat at Geronimo Oaks this year, there were between 13-15 of us at any given time plus those who came by for visiting & dinners. The location is perfect for all of the activities of the Texas Hill Country from tubing adventures, boating on Canyon Lake, visits to San Antonio & Austin as well as the activities in Fredericksburg, Greene & New Braunfels. The house was great with plenty of rooms & beds for all. Having the barn and covered area was a life saver for us during the sporadic rains. The kids were able to play out there while we cooked and socialized. This was a great week at a great place. The owners were very attentive to all of our needs. You won’t regret staying here. Hello. The location was very accommodating For the wedding but we did not have hot water at any time

The outside grill only half of the side worked so we had to purchase a grill since the wedding rehearsal dinner was planned there. The main bedrooms ac did not cool properly But overall did not have major issues

Peaceful and stress free wedding get away.

My husband and I booked this location after hearing about all its wonderfulness from another bride and groom who stayed following there wedding at Geronimo Oaks. Let me just say it was the BEST decision we made! The location was so close to the venue and as a couple who lives about 30 min away it was perfect for our wedding weekend. We were able to bring everything we needed up the day before the wedding and didn't have to worry about driving into SA to gather anything that was missing. We had stores within minutes of our stay and venue that made everything so easy. The house ya'll! IT WAS EMACULATE! So clean and fresh when we arrived, and nestled perfectly for some peaceful sleep. We had plenty of room for our wedding party and a few family members that stayed with us in anticipation of the coming weekend of fun. The beds were extremely comfortable and the restrooms were large! The kitchen is gorgeous and has space for all that stayed! We would give everything 10 stars if we could! Thank you to the owner for allowing us to have a great stay!
