Classic Donner Cabin w/ family friendly amenities

This classic cabin is the perfect spot for a cozy and fun family getaway. Located in Tahoe Donner, it is 5 minutes from the Donner Downhill Ski Resort and 10 minutes up the hill from a vibrant Downtown Truckee. Our cabin includes access to Tahoe Donner amenities where you can use the gym, pool, and hot tub. Enjoy sledding, skiing, and snowboarding in the winter, and floating the river, laying by the beach, and hiking in the summer. This cabin gives you the real Tahoe experience! Maximum overnight guest capacity is 8 adult and 2 children.

Great stay for ski vacation

This turned out beautifully for a family reunion of sorts, including small children and a dog. Great location for skiing Palisades. Having only one shower can mean jockeying for use but it is in the description so it's not a surprise. Would stay there again happily.

Nice neighborhood, cabin and service.

We really like staying there. Service great. Neighborhood very nice and safe. The only thing we didn’t like is that the cleaning it’s very poor. There were dogs here everywhere and dust. Also beds sheets had dogs and woman hair. Bathroom mat very dirty. Besides that everything was great we had a great staying.

Great Cabin For Friends and Family

We had a great stay here for a short ski trip at Palisades. The cabin itself was amazing. The feel and ambience of the cabin made the ski trip a perfect escape from work life. The cabin had so many things that helped it have a great feel, such as blueprints for the cabin on the walls, a little gas fireplace, a sled outside, and an all wood aesthetic. Overall a perfect place for a short ski trip with family and friends.

Cozy cabin

Nice little place at a reasonable rate. Plenty of beds. Only downside was one shower for up to 8 people. Other than that had a great time.

Cool cozy cabin in a great location

We enjoyed our stay despite having to cut our trip short due to wildfire smoke. We would certainly return again in any season

Perfect cozy cabin!

This was the perfect cabin for our little getaway. Has that cozy cabin feel and still close to stores and the freeway. Nice quiet neighborhood and had the perfect little hill for sledding for the kids.

Great stay with dogs

I stayed here for two weeks family plus our two dogs. The place was spotless upon our arrival and was perfect for our vacation and remote “work from home” time that we spent there. Great stay!

A cozy comfortable space

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this pleasant home. I was impressed with how clean it was (especially since they allow dogs). It has a nice view out to the forested area in the back. The communications were easy and they replied promptly. All in all, a great stay--we'd return!

Great Location!

The cabin was in a great location. We stayed with another family and their kids (4 adults, 4 kids) and created a great sled run in the back. The property managers were very responsive and check in and out processes were super easy. Overall, the cabin was good but it the quarters were a little tight for all of us. Only one bathroom had a shower; the second bath just a toilet upstairs. One of the bedrooms was more of a loft. It worked well, but, if there's a large group, it can get a little tight.

Perfect cabin for 1-2 families with kids

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The cabin is clean and well maintained, with comfortable beds, quiet heater, with spacious bedrooms and living room, with great view from living room to snowy forest. The cabin is beautiful, has all amenities. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. The owner was very responsive. I am sure we will come back!

My husband and I grew up coming to Tahoe as children. We chose this classic A-Frame home because it embodies everything we love about Tahoe. It is close to downtown, skiing, golfing and the Trout Creek Rec Center. It is the perfect home to make more memories with our family.
