Well stocked, comfortable stay

Great cabin, not too far up the Tahoe-Donner hill so still relatively close to town and the lake. Very well stocked kitchen so you can cook whatever you like. Main floor master bed is very comfortable.

Great Place in Tahoe-Donner

This house/cabin is amazing. Very Clean, very homey, love the porch/deck outside. Very well stocked kitchen-even though we didn't use anything except the coffee pot. Truly a great vacation spot. Really can't say enough good things about the place and the owners are very responsive to every questions-no matter how dumb mine were!

Great Home Away From Home

Just spent five nights here with my family of four. The house had everything we needed, and the location is excellent and central to where we needed to be. We will happily return for our next trip to Tahoe.

Thanksgiving in Tahoe Donner

This immaculate home was perfect for Thanksgiving week visiting with our daughter who lives in the area and hosting the family dinner. Close to Truckee and the North Tahoe area slopes, we were able to take advantage of the early winter weather, abundant dining and window shopping!

Summer at Truckee.

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin!!! Very clean, enough space for the family of 4 to 6 people, well supplied kitchen, easy to check in, and close to Truckee city and Donner lake.

Beautiful home away from home

Stunning property that matched the descriptions provided in the listing. It’s a beautiful location with snow all around the property. Fun for the kids to play with very little traffic. Beautiful neighborhood. Greatly appreciate this property excepts pets. It was our dogs first trip to the snow. We will definitely be booking this location in the future.

Great stay in Truckee

The house was in a nice quiet location a short drive from downtown Truckee. Lots of trails in the area to explore and a nice place to work remote. Great house!

Family fabulous

We came up for our Family reunion. The cabin was great for my Parents, daughter and I. It had plenty of dishes and kitchen equipment. It was very clean and user-friendly.

Wonderful Experience

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy, clean cabin! This cabin was very comfortable and met our expectations. The kitchen was well stocked as well! Highly recommend!

Great for a group

Friends stayed for a couple of nights in June for an artists retreat. It was a comfortable place to stay after a long day of drawing. The location is super peaceful and communication with the owner was great. If this retreat happens again next year, we’ll start with this listing when we look for a place to stay.

Great place

The instant hot tap was so nice for my cups of tea. Doors were squeaky so that was a negative but kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay. There were several tasks to open the place up but we managed just fine

Will definitely be coming back

Wonderful cabin with a nice rustic feel and also a recently updated kitchen. Beds were really comfortable and the showers had nice water pressure. It was fun to stoke up the fireplace and put on one of the many movies to choose from. Two thumbs up!

Spacious and Quiet

Check in was easy and Richard promptly responded to my questions. The cabin was comfortable and spacious and the location was quiet and close to town. The newly remodeled kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. The only minor inconvenience was that the propane grill was downstairs in the garage, but we adjusted. Other than that, everything was perfect. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice place in convenient location

My husband and I came up to Tahoe with some friends, originally to do a long hike in Palisades (that unfortunately got canceled due to thunderstorms). Check in and check out instructions were mostly helpful, but was rather involving. It would have been a much better experience if the house was fully prepped for our arrival and fully handled upon our departure. Getting charged a cleaning fee on top of doing a lot of cleaning steps didn't feel great. Space itself was nice enough, and I found the bed I slept on and the sofa to be pretty comfortable. Would have been nice if the dining room chairs had thicker cushions, as they were rather stiff and not very comfortable to sit on for longer periods of time. The main bathroom downstairs we used was pretty nice, and I really liked how spacious the fridge was. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of dishes and cutlery, which was nice. Overall, it worked out for our trip and our group size, and was a decent place to be stuck indoors while it was raining.
