Our new 800 sq ft guest cottage is the perfect hideaway on a small working farm. Nestled under a large shade tree makes for a cool rest. Coconuts, mangoes, spice, avocado, lemon and lime trees fill out the lawns. The main house has a large fresh water pool. The Caribbean sea is a 10 minute walk. Wifi is available on the Big House Porch.
Our home is located in the River Doree, Choiseul area of St. Lucia. It is on the extreme southern tip, where fishing and farming are the mainstay. The Cottage if fully self sufficient.
Laborie is the next town to our east where village life excels. Vieux Fort, St. Lucia's second largest city, is 10 miles to the east from our home. All necessities are readily available.
Buses run along the road at the top of the gap, 5 min walk. They can be erratic on the weekends and holidays. A full service grocery store is a mile up the road.
Our beach is a 10 min walk down our lane where the fresh water of the River Doree meets the Caribbean Sea. There is a sandy beach where families gather to "Lime" on the weekends.
Both Laborie and Vieux Fort have sandy beaches, though Vieux Fort's beach is on the Atlantic Side.
Our home is minutes from the world famous Pitons, Botanical Gardens, Tet Paul Nature Trail walk, and the only drive in volcano.
Additionally, we will pick you up at the airport to minimize your travel stress.
