The Triple L (The Long Lake Life) is located on beautiful Long Lake only 15 minutes from Traverse City and 4 minutes from Moomer’s Homemade Ice cream, voted America’s best ice cream parlor by Good Morning America. The Triple L’s lakefront has a large shallow area safe for fun water activities and an expansive dock for your boat. The dockside patio is perfect for “chillin’ out”! Long Lake, the Traverse area’s cleanest and warmest lake has five islands to explore. A day spent on this gorgeous lake is priceless.

There are two bedrooms and a bedroom loft area that includes a Sleeper Sofa, Bunk Beds and a Futon. Amenities include a full kitchen, WiFi, 50” flat screen, and both a gas and charcoal grill. The Chiminea on the upper terrace is perfect for winding down after a day on the lake. The upper terrace is also a great spot for morning coffee or grilling up dinner with a dynamite view of the lake. The house has ample parking in the front and back. The attached garage is available to store any extra items. The Triple L is only one-half mile away from the public boat launch.

Some of the pictures of the exterior were a little deceiving. There was no place to sit outside, except for going up the stairs to the outside patio facing the lake, which was my biggest disappointment of the property. Otherwise, very nice and clean with a lot of adequate space and also the little appointments such as shampoo, soaps, paper towels, salt, and pepper, and other items made it very accommodating.

The home itself was really nice and clean! The road is very close to the house and was a little spooky crossing, however, definitely still worth it because of the dock and the water toys they have for you to use! They had great options for pots and pans as well as multiple blankets, and board games. A couple things to note: 1. The AC is not great in the bedrooms (they have fans you can use but it still gets pretty warm!) 2. The neighbor to the right of the building when looking at the home threatened us when we were grilling. We were still in the driveway, however he told us he would call the cops on us because we were "trespassing". He got in our friend's personal space (unprompted) and was very unkind. 3. The clean up directions differ from whats on the fridge to whats in the bedroom. The clean up is a little extensive for what you paid to stay there. Overall, a great trip! Even after those three things, I would still come back because the location was great & the lake was lovely!!

We went up with our kids for a Christmas family get to together and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Had a great time the owners were excellent to deal with....hope to do again next year

Had a great time

It was the first time in 25 years we made it back up north, and this was a fantastic stop for us. The paddle boards were a hit with our grown kids and it was close to the things we wanted to see. Great spot and accommodations were perfect

Excellent stay! Home was extremely clean and well appointed. Felt much more spacious than its physical space. Just far enough away from Traverse City to avoid crowds but close enough to drive into town. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful.

We had such a great stay. The garage full of water things was more than we expected. Having a washer/dryer and dishwasher was helpful also. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. The road is busy, but your 7 year old was able to cross by himself.

Great property. Great renters. Absolutely loved the decor. 15 minute drive to Meijer, Walmart, the mall, thrift stores, and downtown. Located right between both public beaches. The dock was in great shape and had lots of it. The swim dock was nice too. Lots of shallow water to play in for little ones or just floating around and deeper water at the end of the dock for those of us who like to jump right in. They also offered a couple of kayaks and paddle boards to use. This is a cottage you can show up with your clothes, food and some floaty devices and be set for the week. Pots and pans, towels, sheets and even a crockpot are all there for your use. The only downside to this cottage is that you have to cross the road to get to the dock so if you have little kids who like to escape, might not be the best choice but other than that, it’s great and we truly enjoyed our week. Long Lake is the best lake, if you ask me so if you want a Great Lake to swim in, this is it.

We had a great week at the Triple L lake house. Very spacious open floor plan inside. It was clean and well appointed with the basics like TP, paper towels, etc. The place has a propane bbq we used several nights to enjoy dinner by the water. We also had fun using the kayaks that are there. Good and speedy communications with the owner. We experienced some internet issues during the beginning of our stay. After reaching out to the owner, the problem was resolved promptly the next morning. The wild fire smoke and the need to stay indoors affected a few days near the end of our stay. But the location of the house offered just short drives into TC Commons and downtown TC for indoor activities.Fantastic Trip!

Quick TC weekend trip

We were visiting TC for the fall Autumn Classic soccer tournament so didn't get as much time at the house as we would have liked to enjoy! The house was very clean and accommodating with a beautiful location. We had brought our boat but didn't get quite enough time to enjoy the water. The house was well stocked with toys to enjoy lake life! We would stay again!

Great Getaway

Quiet lake, Easy access for getting out on the water with paddleboards. Wish we had more time to use all the water "toys" . Kitchen was well equipped for just about anything. Spacious and clean! Would stay again!

Wonderful location

This property was beautiful and in a great spot in Traverse City. It is a short drive to downtown, but remote enough for relaxation! The property is really close to the road, but it did not bother us. The property manager was very nice and helpful! We would definitely stay here again!

Just what we wanted!

Super cute, cozy and clean! This was perfect for our family. The kids loved the loft area. The location is great being right across from the lake and close to downtown Traverse City. We’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a long weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at this house…great location and had everything we needed! We especially loved the patio on the deck for sitting and enjoying the lake and sun. We bought a fishing boat with us and the owners were nice enough to let us use their empty boat lift which was awesome. Everything was great and I would recommend this as a great place to stay to enjoy what the area has to offer. I would suggest updating the description to make it clear that the dock will be accessed by the owners as well during your stay, as they keep their boats there and are around often. We had a great long weekend stay here, thank you!

Annual girls trip

We didn’t spend a ton of time at the property because we were busy exploring the area but it had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and clean. Also, the paddle boards and kayaks were a huge bonus with the lake directly across the street. We would return to this location.

Great stay at Londlock!

We had a very nice short stay at londlock. The property was very clean actually bigger than the pictures make it seem. The water was beautiful and the use of the dock with a shallow wading spot and deeper areas to swim made it very enjoyable!
