This beautiful creekside retreat truly lives up to its name! Situated on rushing Fightingtown Creek, this lovely 'Southern Living' design cabin boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with all the bells and whistles. The minute you exit your car, you will enjoy the rushing sounds of the creek in your back yard. Cozy up by the fireplace on the screen porch overlooking the creek, play a game of pool in the oversized recreation room or lounge in the 6 person hot tub. Sports fans/movie lovers will enjoy the newly added 52-in plasma TV in the rec room. This cabin has many unique upgrades including kitchen with granite countertops/ stainless appliances and exquisite stonework in the baths. If you enjoy trout fishing, tubing or just playing around in one of the most beautiful creeks in the area, look no further than your front yard! Roast marshmallows in the firepit or just relax in the hammock and watch the creek go by. You will truly enjoy your mountain experience in this luxury cabin.


This is not your 'Typical Cabin'. The furnishings are 5 Star. You will not see a piece of sheet rock on the walls. The entire cabin is filled with hand peeled floors, slate, granite, and wood walls. Excellent stay at Creek-N-Awesome! We enjoyed the house, large table and well stocked kitchen, river, hammock, hot tub and relaxing in the spacious screened in porch. Our dog enjoyed the fenced area and the wrap around deck made for easy entry. Rick, the host was informative with the check-in process and responsive. We look forward to returning in the spring or fall.

Perfect for our teenagers and dogs! The property is perfectly located near a creek with the essentials (fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds) and extras (billiards, air hockey, hot tub). The screened in back porch was a favorite hang out. Also, we appreciated the fenced in yard for our dogs. Rick is a great host! Cannot wait to go back!!

We had such a wonderful stay celebrating my birthday! The cabin was cozy, clean, and exactly what we were hoping for. The host was incredibly accommodating, communicative, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Beautiful cabin with beautiful views. We had a great time. The dog corral was perfect to let the dogs run around. Highly recommended for someone looking to enjoy some privacy and the outdoors.

Wonderful spot with a very responsive host! Beautiful outdoor space a great place to take your dogs. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere after a busy holiday sprint. Looking to possibly return in the spring and will consider Rick’s spot again.

Very nice property and amenities. Loved the outdoor fireplace and the space by the creek. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It made for a wonderful getaway with just me and my husband but the house has space for a lot more than just 2 people.

Awesome cabin with lots of amenities. It is secluded in the woods and sits by a creek and is the perfect get-away. It was clean and inviting. The fireplace on the back porch was our favorite place to hang out. We would definitely stay here again, and we’ll happily refer this Creakin’ Awesome cabin to our friends and family.

Remote get-a-way!

Great location in the middle of the woods with a beautiful stream Kids enjoyed swimming in the water. But close enough to go to downtown Blue Ridge.

I've lived in Atlanta area since 1999. This cabin was purchased new in 2007 and has been on a rental program since then. I am only 1 1/2 hours from the cabin so I constantly check in when it's not rented and make sure things are in order.
