The property was beautiful, very clean and well stocked. The hosts are wonderful and gave really good information and recommendations for activities around the cabin. We had the best time!!

Excellent property!

This is our second stay in this beautiful home. We hope to continue our annual winter visit for family relaxation, snowshoeing on Caribou Lake, and skiing at Lutsen Mountain.

Great fun for everyone! An absolute must stay!

This property is the cleanest most stocked and fun packed VRBO I’ve ever seen! Ann and Cheryl have thought about everything! Our family had a ton to do outside the cabin and inside 13/10! Would recommend.

Absolutely spectacular property and such a wonderful experience. Ann and Cheryl are the warmest, most helpful and most responsive hosts we've ever encountered. The property is gorgeous and immaculately maintained, and perfect for a family or friends getaway trip to the North Shore. We enjoyed a day skiing at Lutsen and a day in Grand Marais, and spent the evenings cooking and hanging out. The sauna was so relaxing after a day of skiing; we actually enjoyed it every night. Would love to come back in the summertime and have a campfire down by the lake. Truly a fantastic place.

Perfect home for a family get away!

Our family came to stay for a long weekend. We spent a couple days skiing together at Lutsen and this was a perfect place to stay. The home is beautiful, clean, cozy, and well appointed. The hosts are fabulous and gave us some great suggestions for what to do in the area. Highly suggest and can’t wait to go back!!

Perfect spot

Beautiful, clean home. Excellent communication with host. Loved the Fika coffee beans. Absolutely stop at Fika coffee for a maple latte. Best coffee ever! We fished, hiked and enjoyed the beautiful lake. Super quiet and relaxing location.

A slice of heaven!

We thoroughly enjoyed our annual trip to the North Shore and week-long stay at the Light Lake House. We love the location and privacy on Lake Caribou, the cozy accommodations, and proximity to local venues for winter activities. It never disappoints!

Best place to relax

Beautiful home and beautiful property! Very private and relaxing. The sauna was wonderful and looking out on the lake was just the kind of vacation we needed. Owners were very easy to communicate with and provided lots of information before we arrived. We will be returning!

Family Stay at Light Lake House

A quiet and serene stay was made wonderful by this unique house. Views of the outdoors, trees and lake from every room. Wonderfully restored/updated house that was fully equipped in the kitchen and bathrooms. House was immaculately clean. Great communication with our hosts about our stay. This house was easily the nicest VRBO we have stayed in and we hope to return.

Light-filled lake house

Peaceful, location on beautiful lake. House and location was as described. Hosts were extremely great and easy to communicate with. Canoes and Kayaks were located near dock and easy to launch and fun to paddle around the quiet lake. Caught a bass off the dock after watching a nice sunrise over the glass-like lake. Location is great for quick access to Lutsen resort, Grand Marais, and hiking all over. House provided all the needs, nice fireplace ar night.

Perfect northern Minnesota vacation

This was our third time staying at this property, and once again, it was perfect! Beautiful home in an idyllic setting. The home is spacious and updated. Kitchen is stocked with anything you could need. The sauna felt wonderful after coming back from snowshoeing. We loved it!
