The Villas of Matanuska are Glacier Suites’ original & most centrally-located set of eight standalone residences, all constructed using ICF (insulated concrete forms) for the ultimate in comfort and quiet. The fully-furnished, standalone villas each have 3-bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, radiant heated floors, a fully-stocked kitchen, storage room, ensuite laundry, charming living areas and many more upgraded amenities designed to accommodate up to 8 guests. Enjoy wooded views while you Netflix and chill on our Roku-enabled TV, or keep up with business using the included wifi. This location boasts a prime location just minutes from downtown Palmer, Hatcher Pass, or Wasilla, with convenient access to all of the main highways. 

Palmer is just 45-60 minutes northeast of Anchorage, and is a an ideal basecamp for all kinds of attractions throughout south central Alaska. While adventure & activities (like Hatcher Pass, the Reindeer Farm, Musk Ox Farm, Glacier Tours, and more!) are practically right in our backyard, we are also a great go-between for stays ranging north to Talkeetna & Denali National Park, northeast to the Matanuska Glacier & out to the Al-Can Highway, and, of course, south to the fishing & outdoor mecca that is Alaska's Kenai Peninsula.

We make your Alaskan getaway comfortable, clean and convenient. Private guest accommodations at this residence include:

     - 1 primary queen bedroom with ensuite full bathroom

    - 1 bedroom with queen size bed

    - 1 bedroom with two twin beds

     - 2 additional tri-fold sleeping mats stored in the guest room closet

We loved staying here, it is such a beautiful spacious and clean home! Our pet loved it too, and we were so happy we found this pet friendly home. It was nice and quiet, and we loved cooking and gathering in the large kitchen. Thank you to the wonderful host, our time in Palmer was incredible and we are so happy with our stay!! We can't wait to come back soon!

Easy access into lovely home and owner had quick response to questions. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 tweens. Great location right off main road.

Great location!

Glacier suites is conveniently located right between Palmer and Wasilla and easy access to the Glenn Hwy. Melany responded quickly to our questions and the rate is very reasonable.

This is a modern spacious and clean stand alone home with more than enough space for a larger group. The proximity to Hatcher's Pass makes it a great place to stay when adventuring nearby. Communication with the property manager was great. Highly recommend.

Hockey base camp

The property was clean, simple and close enough to our venues. The T.V. Remote was broken, but other than that we had a nice stay.

Great Stay in Palmer

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I stayed at this property while in the area for a family wedding. The house was very clean, attractive and comfortable. We enjoyed the open living/kitchen area for relaxing in the evening when our activities were over. We appreciated that there were laundry facilities. The neighborhood is very quiet yet has easy access to major thoroughfares that connect to both downtown Palmer and Anchorage. Check in, check out and communications were all clear and smooth. I highly recommend this property to anyone needing accommodations for 4 to 6 people, with easy access to Palmer, Wasilla and Anchorage.

Very clean and great host

We were only here for a short one night stay but really enjoyed the home. Appeared to be very new, had everything we needed, and the host was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again.

Very spacious

We are a family of 5 and the property was incredibly spacious, clean and very nice. We only stayed 1 night as we were making our way up to Fairbanks. Wish we could have stayed a little longer.

Clean, quiet and comfortable

This property is in a very convenient central location when visiting the valley. The house was spacious and tastefully decorated. Plenty of privacy too. All in all a great place to stay.

Very nice!

This place was super clean and had everything we needed! Warm and comfortable! Little tough to find but read the directions given and that will help! Don’t trust your phone!

Just right

Clean, spacious, quiet and warm. Plenty of hot water for parents, grandparents, and young folks after ice skating competiton and hockey tournament. A haven in midst of much coming and going. Very nice to be able to reconvene over dinner together at end of busy day. Would definitely come again.

Great place

Very nice location. Roomy, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Full kitchen. Nice looking and comfortable. Excellent place to explore the area from. We really enjoyed the accommodations. Highly recommended.

Great Place to Stay

We had trouble getting into our place the first night, but was able to call the property manager and get in without a problem. Beautiful place to stay! Great rooms, great kitchen. Enjoyed our stay.

Great stay!

Comfortable, tastefully decorated, and clean. Really appreciated the washer and dryer. Would’ve liked soaps and shampoo in both the bathrooms, but other than that small detail, it was very nice!
