Great location and surroundings. Loved having the creek and bike path so close. House has lake cottage feel, nothing fancy but suited our needs. The screened on porch was awesome!

We enjoyed our partial week stay at Roxanne's cottage on Pine Creek. The house is comfortable with a lived in family vacation feeling. We especially enjoyed the fire pit with clear sky views, hammock in the shady yard and access to the creek.

We spent almost all of our time either on the sun porch or down in the creek! The house has everything you need. It is very homey feeling with all of the family photos and history. We really enjoyed our stay and being present in the moment.

It's great for us when our guests feel the same joy we have as a family at the cottage. We cannot take credit for its peacefulness but the Creek and Rail Trail are great amenities for area residents and visitors. Thank you for your kind remarks.

Airconditioning did not reach upper and lower bedrooms. Upper bedroom had sliding doors to a porch. There was no blinds or curtains so people from the right property could see you if you were changing. You had to hide to change. Very inconvenient. Kitchen bathroom had alot of loose wallpaper/ wallboard. Floors in the bathroom had pieces sticking up.

Roxanne was a great host! Replied quickly when we had an issue and even came to the house to make sure we were taken care of. Cute place, comfortable with a beautiful view of the creek in the back. Had everything we needed.

The view was absolutely stunning!! Got to watch 2 Eagles flying around, lots of squirrels everywhere and peace and quiet!!

We loved this very warm hearted home. We stayed here due to running a trail race nearby. It had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again! The neighborhood is gorgeous and surrounding area was fun to explore.

The views from and around the cottage are amazing. The location is great as it is very close to the Pine Creek Rail Trail. And the creek in the back yard is charming. The bedroom and bathroom heating and comfort of the bed were very much appreciated.

Roxanne was a great host! The house had plenty of room for our five guests. Very nicely furnished and kitchen was well stocked. The two bathrooms were very convenient. Internet worked well and very nice having the tv. We would enjoy staying again at this house. Maybe next time a visit in the Summer would be nice. Thanks for a great visit!

This was one of the best place to stay.The house had everything we needed. We barely bought anything from the store.There are trails right outside the cottage.Will definitely come back in summer.

Three day stay
Overall had a good stay as location is the key here. We rode bike and enjoyed the creek by tube and kayak.

Older cottage. Very homey and laid back. Only real downside is that it is hard to find location using gps for local directions. GPS takes you on the wrong road. Cell phone coverage in the immediate area is bad. Had to drive back out of area to get cell coverage. Stopped at the Venture Inn to get directions. They were very helpful. There is a little shed like structure about 1-1.5 miles from Venture Inn on the road to turn down to reach the community.Cottage needs some TLC. WiFi in cottage was not strong. Only 2 of the bedrooms (master and the other one upstairs) take advantage of the air conditioning. Master has air conditioner and main floor has an inside floor air conditioner, that is not adequate for the cottage in our opinion. Fans provided are not adequate to use the other 'bedrooms'. Several other inside porch areas, not heated nor air conditioned. Screen-in back porch has a limited view of creek/dock due to overgrown vegetation. Yard leading to the dock is on a slight down hill slope without a adequate walkway.The dock on the creek out back was major plus for out 10 year old grandson, who caught fished and boated. He enjoyed it immensely. No boat provided. We bought an inflatable boat at Walmart. A boat of some sort with the cottage would have been nice. We are an older couple with our grandson, so the hiking and trails were not used, but the area is famous for that. Overall, for a place in the woods by the creek, it was good.

Fishing and Biking get away
Fishing at Little Pine State Park and riding bikes on the Pine Creek Rail Trail . Property close to everything!

Super locaton right on the Big Pine Creek ,close to bike trail,quiet location ,great summertime place.lots of room,just a really nice place.
