Charming Creekside cottage along a beautiful part of Pine Creek. Direct access to the 62 Mile top ranked Pine Creek Rail Trail (USA today Ranked one of the Top Ten Places to Bike Ride). Watch Bald Eagles soar above the creek as you enjoy your coffee. Our modern cabin hosts a full gourmet well equipped kitchen with Le Crueset, ScanPans, and all needed utensils to make fun and complete meals. The modern Bathroom features a full Slate shower room and has ample high quality towels for a full family. Our beds all feature high thread count bedding. The living room has a large Mountain stone fire place, a large leather genuine Stickley Settle and Recliner for your comfort. The cabin has new fiber high speed Wifi and a Verizon Cell Network Extender. It also has Direct TV with a large Flat Panel smart TV and Blu Ray player.
Outside you'll find a large deck overlooking Pine Creek. The deck has a large open area as well as a covered Deck area. Seating for everyone is available on the decks. The outdoor Fire pit is perfect for sitting by the Creek and enjoying a Fire daytime or under a Blanket of Bright Stars. We offer Hassel Free spilt, dry firewood onsite for your convenience. (No reason to buy by the bundle)
Walk out the back door to swim, fish, kayak, and enjoy the beauty of the Valley. Out the front door is a short walk to access the 62 mile Pine Creek Rail Trail. We are a Pet Friendly Cottage as well.

Nice cottage in a great location. Right on the creek, however, be careful of the “floating dock.” It’s basically a thick piece of foam. We did find a drawer full of someone’s old socks, random bathroom items that had been left behind by someone. The cart for getting your belongings from the parking area to the cottage had flat tires and the grill had definitely seen better days. Overall my wife and I and our two dogs enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was very nice and the area is simply beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately we were not given the correct check in code but the owner was responsive to our calls and we were able to get into the cottage a short time later with the correct code. We would stay again!

We booked this place for short getaway to go bike riding on the Pine Creek Railtrail. Peace and quiet is the best way to describe it. It provided us with everything we needed for a nice getaway. Our dogs enjoyed the space outside to run and play. Doug was always quick to answer questions. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation.

This place was so bad we did not even stay there. To be fair, the host was wonderful about refunding our money but vacationers beware. It is not modern and not as advertised. Mouse dirt in utensil drawer, dirty pots and pans, glasses in cabinet with food particles dried on, overall smell of mothballs and mold in this rustic creek side cabin. Liquor in unlocked cabinet and dust accumulated on shelves. I usually do not say anything negative but this place was a huge disappointment. I wish it would have been as represented. Buyer beware. Photos to back up claims..no exaggeration. Sorry Doug.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. Waking up in the morning to the breath taking view will never be matched. Even got to see a bald eagle once! Doug was ver helpful! We will stay again.. and I suggested this location to my family as well!!

Cute cabin. A little dark in the livingroom but we spent most of our time outside enjoying the water and view. Not thrilled with the toilet seat that doesnt fit the toilet. Also vrbo listing states 2pm check in as well as my email confirmation. For some reason Doug messaged me that check in was a strict 3pm check in no earlier. He did honor 2pm check in after i brought it to his attention which was nice. Im just not sure why there is conflicting information. Overall we enjoyed our stay

We had a great weekend with my girlfriends! Cabin was nice! Shower was great! Fireplace was great! Lots of wood! Deck is gorgeous and saw lots of ducks! A little cold but we had a great time! Host responded quickly to any questions before we had before going. We all lived within 1 1/2 to 2 hrs away but nice change in scenery! Would book again!

I was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania(Montoursville) and always dreamed of owing a cottage on Pine Creek Valley. My wife and I fell in love with this specific location Our cabin has all of the charm of a country cottage but is updated with fully modern amenities. We enjoy cooking together so the kitchen is well equipped with a full assortment of high grade pots, pans and utensils for your enjoyment. The Modern Bathroom features everything you will need. The large decks overlooking the creek will offer hours of tranquillity. Our cottage is located on a perfect part of Pine Creek.
