Maria was an excellent host with timely communication. She reached out to us before check in to go over details and responded to questions during our stay. The house was beautiful and had so many amenities and thoughtful inclusions. It really was a cozy place for us to call home during our vacation in PEI.

The property is nice, very clean. The beds could be a little more comfortable but there were many places to sleep.

Comfortable and quiet in a convenient location for day trips.

The home has every comfort one would need and much more. The beach access wasn't as attractive as pictured and definately not as big, however not a big deal.

PEI vacation 2024

We enjoyed the area and the fact that there was more space than some other cottage rental situations that have multiple units right beside each other. I would recommend the property to anyone as long as they realize that it is in a quiet area and things are not far but not right next door. Previously we have always stayed closer to Cavendish during our visits so it was nice to be able to explore the western side of the island.

Nice house, good location

This house was clean and well set up. Matresses could be updated but were still fairly comfortable. Listing indicates that there is a hot tub and cabin bedroom and includes pictures of those amenities, but we discovered after booking that this was only available at an additional cost. This is misleading. Overall the house fit our needs and had what we needed to make our trip easy and stress free.

The mosquitoes were simply relentless, all times of day and the property did not offer any sort of screened-in porch or outdoor area. If we were on the property, we were stuck indoors.

Dear Martin, We were saddened to know that after your second stay at our property your score was so low. You seemed to absolutely love it the first time you stayed with us in the exact same location with the exact same outdoor space. We take pride in our grounds, having it trimmed regularly, manicured and pruned, sprayed as well. In fact we had the cottage the week prior to your arrival, with the exception of the rain, spent as much time as we could outdoors, having fires and going for strolls, enjoying the BBQ. There are a bit more bugs at dusk and we include bug spray for our guests. But outside of that mosquitoes in PEI are part of the provincial culture I’m afraid! All the best to you and your family. Prime Location

This Bedeque property is in a prime location for daily travel to sights around the island. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and ice cream shops in nearby Summerside. Our favorite dinner was at a small shop with a very limited, but delicious, menu, called South Central Kitchen and Provisions. Holman's Ice Cream was our favorite ice cream shop, and we tried several.

Great View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The space was adequate for our group of 9. The views were awesome and the location was great for short day trips across the island. Better furniture, more comfortable couches /chairs in the family room would make this a full 5 star place. Not very comfortable to hang out inside while it's raining out.
