The property was warm & cozy. Lots of wood & wood look, cabin feel with lots of room to spread out. If you are wanting contemporary this is not it. Beware there are lots of steps. Plenty of kitchen amenities for a group. The complementary bottle of wine was a nice touch. The host, Jen, was super responsive to all our communications. Overall a great stay!

We had 7 adults stay for the week and there was plenty of space for everyone. I believe we enjoyed every inch of the property. Look for deer hanging out under decks and in the rocks, and we even had an elk herd walk on the driveway one evening right as we were leaving.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Hummingbird Treehouse. We were a family party of 7, all adults, and found the home to be ideal. It was very well located - only about 15 minutes from RMNP and downtown Estes Park - and in excellent condition. The kitchen was well stocked and fully functional, the bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable, and the Octagon Room was a great spot to relax and watch a movie. The game room was a very fun add-on that we really enjoyed. Communications with the host were timely and effective, and the check-in process was a snap. We love National Parks and had never been to Rocky Mountain before, and it was spectacular. October was a great time to be there, high temps ranged from 65-75 and the nights were cool but never cold, and the park was popular but never overcrowded (timed entry was still in effect). We had a great vacation!

Amazing stay! The house was perfect for our family with plenty of space for everyone. The Octagon room and game room were so much fun and great gathering spots. Definitely the most well stocked kitchen of any rental home we’ve ever stayed at. The host was very responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

The mountain views from every room & the wrap around deck are even more amazing than shown in the listing. Truly a fabulous home very conveniently located in a quiet easily accessible neighborhood just outside of RMNP & downtown Estes. Also great access to wonderful trials outside RMNP. We really appreciated this exceptionally well-stocked home; it had everything! Coming back to the cozy ‘octagon room’ with fireplace each evening was a plus. Lots of fun board games and a separate game room provided great in-home entertainment options without requiring any effort. The home layout was wonderful for our family of adult children needing a bit of privacy —- master other 2 bedrooms off separate sides of main gathering area with additional suite at ground level. The library room also has a very comfortable queen futon couch for an additional guest/visitor. The backyard faces exposed rocks with a nestled patio w/grill. Across the entire front view you see the mountains unobstructed — both forested & rugged snow capped. We will be back over & over again

After some initial confusion about the front door code, the rest of the stay was fantastic. The home had a great combination of communal and private spaces that enabled 6 adults to share time together and enjoy privacy as well. The kitchen was well stocked, and the house was clean and well maintained. There are excellent views, particularly from the deck on the south and east sides of the house.

Great home for a family gathering! Pictures and descriptions are very accurate. Nicely furnished and equipped. Good location in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Estes and RMNP. Host is very responsive to any questions. Lots of pertinent directions/instructions to make your stay easy.

Family stay with three teenagers. House is perfect, room for all to enjoy. We loved watching the wild life from the back deck. Such cute chipmunks. We also saw a large bull elk yard next to us. View, well priceless. Excellent communication with our hosts, every little detail from home is addressed. Thank for a wonderful stay. Until next time…..

The property was very cozy, we especially loved the spacious living room full of comfy chairs and couches with a cool view of the rocky terrain. Our family enjoyed spending the evenings in the game room downstairs, and the beds were all large and comfortable. The property manager was friendly and very helpful! Would definitely stay again

This was our second stay at this property and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The hosts are welcoming and communicative, the property/kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the property is well maintained and clean. Highly recommend!

Thr property was very comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. The location was near everything we wanted to see and has a great view of the mountains. The oroperty owner was very helpful and responsive. We would happily stay here again (and probably will).

Very Enjoyable Stay

We very much enjoyed the Hummingbird Treehouse. Everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the welcome gift was a very nice touch. We would definitely stay again.

We've had the most amazing time in a beautiful house that was stocked with all kitchen essentials to make meals, to stay warm with blankets and coats and bathroom toiletries. The host was communicating very well and provided all answers leading up to our vacation (even a bottle of wine was awaiting us at the house)! We are beyond thankful and made many memories (with snow) during our Thanksgiving stay!!

Our family had a great time here. It’s about 8 minutes driving to town for groceries shopping and 13 mins to Rocky mountain national park entrance. The house is clean and spacious and good for big group of family or friends to stay. My favorite part is the good mountains view from outside patio.

James provides excellent communication before and during the stay. The home was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking meals. There was plenty of space to spread out and relax after long days in RMNP hiking. James is very thoughtful and even provided a welcome gift upon arrival.

Another great stay

This was our family’s 5th time staying. The home is just as described and suits our needs well. Jim and Jennifer are great hosts. Hope to return again in the future to make more special memories.
