Rustic mountain getaway just steps away from the Big Thompson River from starting at only $109/night in off-season! Situated between downtown Estes Park (less than one mile!) with plentiful shopping and restaurants, and Rocky Mountain National Park with bountiful wildlife, sight-seeing, and hiking opportunities. Enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the local elk heard meander through the property or stroll down to the Big Thompson to try your luck for the big catch. ( The river is only 100 feet away down the hill from the cabin at the end of a large, grassy common area.)

Cabin is completely updated with contemporary mountain decor. The two-bedroom cabin features a wonderfully appointed master with a queen bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full bed on bottom and a twin on top--perfect for either a second couple's room or for the kids to enjoy. The living space has a wood burning fireplace to enjoy the crackle and warmth of a fire on a cool night. It also has a TV with cable, DVD, and WiFi for in-house entertainment. The futon in the living space pulls out to a queen-sized bed. The kitchen is fully equipped for being able to enjoy a home cooked meal even when away from home. Outside is a deck from which you can hear the cascading waters of the Big Thompson while cooking dinner on the BBQ.

This cabin is in the perfect location to enjoy all of Estes Park's beauty as well as its downtown life. Whether you are in town for a wedding, having a family reunion, or just wanting to get away, you will leave completely satisfied after having stayed at this cabin.

Get away

Had a great time got to see several elk. We have been to Estes Park several times and each time we stay we enjoy it more and more . The property was great the only thing was it’s a kitty hard to find. But overall very nice place and had a great time.

Great family time

The cabin was perfect for our needs, a long weekend for our family of four, close to everything. We enjoyed shopping, coffee, driving through RMNP, cooking a meal and watching football! Overall perfect in every way!

Nice property and location

Property in a nice area close to the river and easy access to Estes Park shops and restaurants, and RMNP entrances. Clean and comfortable with everything you need for a nice escape into nature. Enjoyed the fireplace and radiant heat during the cold snowy nights.

Great RMNP Home Base

Our stay at the property was fantastic—the perfect size for our family and ideally located for exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. It was just a short drive to the park entrance, local eateries, and downtown Estes Park. The cabin itself was comfortable and well-appointed, offering a great place to relax after a day of hiking and sightseeing. We especially loved being surrounded by nature, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery.

Great little house on the road to RMNP. Elk in the yard.

Very nice place for our stay. Well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, comfortable bed. On the road to the Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP. This is the entrance nearest Bear Lake Road and some of the meadows with the elk herds. A couple of days there were 15-18 elk in the yard near the cabin. It is also not very far from the Fall River entrance to the park. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Fabulous

The cabin was amazing and the location was perfect for visiting RMNP, which we did every day. A bull elk and his harem visited a couple days and spent one whole night in the field below which was pretty cool. Except for the bugling the elk did all..night…long.🙂 however, coffee got us revitalized the next morning after the elk woke us up at 5:30. We sat on the porch and watched them until they left about 7. We loved the experience.

Cozy Cabin plus Elk

Grateful for the tea kettle, good water pressure, hearing the creek water and the visiting Elk. Main bedroom could use a mattress update - 5 nights led to back and neck aches. Quiet & cozy spot .

Great quiet cabin with central location

The cabin was perfect for our family in town to explore RMNP for a few days. The cabin was very clean and well stocked to make it our home for a few days. Being near the river was great and we walked to the coffee shop along the river trail each morning. The location was prefect for us as we didn’t want to be right in downtown Estes and was perfect to get to the park each morning at the beaver meadows entrance. Town was about a 6 min drive. Alex was so responsive and gave great direction and tips. Great stay!

Quick Access To RMNP

Quick access to RMNP. Short walk to the river, a pleasant spot to relax. Was also pleasantly surprised by a herd of elk grazing right outside the cabin one morning.
