Visit ling our son in College.

This was our second time staying at Market View. Great location, for the most part, good stay. We would stay here again but would want a few things different. Communication about check in was very slow. I had to reach out to get instructions. I’m used to those being sent by the host 24 hours ahead; non-solicited. The internet was down the entire time. TV was very clunky and I wound up missing the entitle National championship game. Also, the neighboring apartment put a couch in the hallway and we had about a 6” passage by it. Check out with bags was not fun. Beds were probably the worst of it. They are very hard and cheap. The middle bedroom bed is worn in the middle and we kept falling to the middle. The first bedroom wasn’t as worn but very hard, we moved to that bedroom after the first night. We were left with snacks, soap, shampoo, and all the amenities. I know this review sounds like we were totally disappointed but that is not the case. Just some areas of improvement for sure. A few tweaks and Market View would be perfect!

Good location, lovely condo

We stayed here the week between Christmas and New Year. We wanted to be close to restaurants and bars and fun things in downtown. This location was great. Was concerned about the noise at night but it wasn’t too bad. You do need to be careful because there are quite a few homeless in the area. If you are walking from the parking garage to the condo stay together. The condo is clean and is well stocked. Would stay there again.

Great Location

Location was great! We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants, shopping and coffee shops. We came to Knoxville to move our son out of his apartment and always stay on the outskirts of Knoxville, so we tried something new. Everything about the place is great, except the bed in the master bedroom was not to our liking. Maybe it’s a preference, but when we got in the bed, we rolled to the center. Thankfully we like each other. Otherwise, great place. Host was very responsive and we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect!

We loved our stay in this fourth floor apartment! The location is amazing and looks out onto Market Square with plenty of large windows to take in the views. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy, the eating spaces are plentiful, and the cozy living room was great for playing games, watching TV, and chatting. Loved how easy it was to enter the building via a secure entrance after we checked out the shopping and dining available right outside our door. The little touches (holiday decorations, snacks, toiletries) really show the care taken to ensure guests have a great visit. Our daughter graduated from UTK this weekend so we may not need lodging again anytime soon, but if we did, we would stay at this location in a heart beat!

Even better than the pictures!

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt quite safe and at home. But who wouldn't feel safe with Saint Dolly watching over us? :D The beds were comfortable, the view was interesting, and Market Square sometimes even brought the entertainment to us! ;) We loved being within walking distance of amazing food and were impressed with how clean everything was, even the square! We hope we get another chance to stay here in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

As always check in check out process easy Property clean and everything you need supplied to support your stay. Only issue which lasted all 3 days of our stay was internet and WiFi. Kept going in and out which made tv quite painful to deal with David

Beautiful!

The location of this property was perfect. Right on the corner of market square so you end up right next to everything. The apartment was beautiful and very secure with key fob access only to elevator. Am planning to stay here next year again for the same trade show we were at.

Perfect location in downtown Knoxville

This condo checks all of the boxes- right on Market Square, easy to get in/out, clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, and they even put out snacks! We parked in the garage right down the street and felt safe walking back to the condo late at night. There is some street noise but it didn’t bother us at all. There were fans and earplugs available for us to use. I hope this condo is available the next time we come to Knoxville!

Amazing Apartment!

We loved everything about the apartment! The place was gorgeous, well stocked, so clean and at the best location in town! We were dropping our daughter off for grad school and were able to walk everywhere, including to the university campus. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you!!!

Tennessee theater Brit Floyd

Great location for a 3 day trip. Everything is walkable and Knoxville has it all. This was our second stay and it was perfect. The snacks and drinks are an added bonus. Appreciate this special VRBO. We are coming back.

Perfection!

Awesome location, street noise not at all a bother, especially in the bedrooms. My parents stayed in the garden unit with the same response. On Saturdays between May and November, definitely go to the Farmer’s Market downstairs in Market Square. Amazing vendors do so much to see! Area feels very safe - lots of people out walking around day and evening. Would definitely stay here again!

Location, location, location

This was my first time to Knoxville and wanted a centrally located property. Almost everything was within walking distance and a parking garage was 1 block away. There were carts available in the lobby which made toting luggage up to the apartment and to/from garage easy. It was a little noisy (A/C and street activity) but the provided ear plugs worked. Kitchen is adequately stocked and linen/bath towels were great.

City Vacation

The location was perfect. Short walk to restaurants, ice cream shops, parks, theatre, etc. It was very secure and safe and really puts parents at ease staying in the city with kids. Will definitely be back!

Great time

For the most part the 4 of us were very pleased with the condo...the location, kitchen, cleanliness, comfortable main room and bathrooms....all wonderful. The treats and beverages were very much appreciated also. Our only negatives were in regard to the hallway bedroom....the mattress was terribly uncomfortable and the blinds need to be replaced. The bright lights from the outside couldn't be blocked out. We enjoyed parking in the nearby parking garage for free over the weekend.

There are several multi level garages close by. Market Square Garage, Langley Garage, Locust St Garage. They are free after7 on weekdays and weekends (providing there is not a special event going on downtown). Also I recommend looking up on the website
www.downtownknoxville.org and it gives live updates on the available parking downtown.
What is there to do on Market Square?

Shopping?
Earth to Old City has be a family run business for over 25 years in downtown Knoxville, Located in the middle of Market Square that will have any unique gifts you might need. Don't forget to check out their newest shop Alice in Appalachia,..Cocktail shopping!

Music?
Preservation Pub has live music every night or Scruffy City Hall for nightly entertainment
or check out a show at the Tennessee or Bijou Theater right down on Gay St.

What are your beds like?
All our beds are Queen size beds. We do have pull our sofa in some locations as well as futons in a couple of Living rooms. Please check with the individual units for further details.

How do we get into the unit?
Approximately three days before check-in a welcome guide will be sent to you giving you the code for the FOB box which will get you into both doors of the building. The entrance on Wall Ave has the elevator. The entrance on Market Stairs is stairs only.
You will also get a code to unit door at that time.
