Rustic cozy peaceful escape in a safe and quiet neighborhood within 2 blocks from Mayo Hospital and Bethany College with a children's park, hockey rink and tennis courts just across the street. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds for an accommodation of 4 people and two full baths with one on the main floor and one upstairs with the bedrooms. This rustic gem has a lot of charm and character including slanted and squeaky floors and a claw foot tub in the upstairs bath. The warmth and coziness of this home will create a feeling of peacefulness that you will not want to leave. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit from spring to fall.

We enjoyed our time in Mankato. We appreciated the AC and the fan in our bedroom during unusually hot weather. Location was perfect for exploring the area.

Pam was friendly and responsive. The house was cool inside so when we arrived after our daughter's softball tournament, it felt great! Clean and stocked well with everything we would need! (Coffee, Tupperware, dishes...etc) Would highly recommend. It was a quiet neighborhood and felt comfortable staying here.

Home was exactly as written and pictured. My two week stay was very comfortable. Nice safe neighborhood. Space to be outside. Close to everything. Active in the park right next door made it feel like home.

I like the house and had a nice stay. The pickelball courts across the street were busy the whole time, and the park lights were on as late as 11:30 p.m. one night. Some blackout curtains in the bedroom would be nice.

Super cute house. Small kitchen but well equipped. There is also a HUGE pantry area with several tables you could use for prepping if needed. Large dining table and a living room with 2 couches fornplenty of space. Upstairs bathroom is very small but convenient for nighttime use, while the downstairs bathroom is huge with a great showerhead/tub. Cute park across the alleyway. The baseball fields and tennis courts are the closest and it was very quiet while we were there. Great neighborhood for walking around in, and close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Mankato.

The Rustic Retreat was very quaint and a perfect fit for my wife and I, and our daughter and son-in-law. We were in town right after Christmas to visit our other daughter and family. In spite of a blizzard that came out of nowhere, we still enjoyed our stay.
