Mountain Views and Great Fire Pit

1 Bedroom home, with great long-range mountain views. Quiet wooded lot. Great fire pit area. Close to great trails for hiking, ATVs. The house is located on a dirt road. There is parking for at least 4 cars, but a large trailer may be difficult to park.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed. The great room has a Murphy bed with a very comfortable queen size mattress. And, there is also a queen size soft bed. The laundry area also has s a queen-sized air mattress that you can use on the queen size sleeper sofa to help with comfort.
Near the fire pit is a patio with table and chairs to enjoy the views.

There MAY be a FIRE BAN in place when you are interested in coming. Please check the Tonto Forest web site for alert ban status at https://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/tonto/alerts-notices
I will have a sign on the fire pit if I know there is a ban in place. But, it changes often, according to the weather, etc. I do not control the state fire ban laws. Safety is important!

Mental health weekend

This was such a great, cozy, little place to stay when I needed a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Phoenix. Perfect location, great hosts, very enjoyable stay.

Our getaway

Our stay was very enjoyable. Getting to the place was a little difficult but please follow directions they give to get thru the dealership and then it is easy. Days were wonderful and bed was comfortable.

Getaway

Great location. Not well-cleaned. We found socks hanging out of the couch and under the dresser. The TV screen was filthy as were the main windows.

Perfect!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. This home was exactly what we were looking for and the house was so cute. The owners little touches and beautiful decor made us feel very welcome. You could tell that she really cares and wants her guests to feel welcome. I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway. Just dont get startled by the roaming cows like I did. Lol. I will definitely stay here again!

Arizona getaway

This was our first trip from the Midwest to Arizona. The house was in the mountains and had an amazing view every morning and evening. The firepit was perfect for a nightcap. The house is filled with details from the local stores. It is small and beautiful along with exactly what we were looking for. We drove in a different direction every day and enjoyed coming back to the house for evening relaxation. The house is exactly what was expected and would recommend any of my friends to visit.

Great stay

My husband and I loved staying here. It's an adorable 1 bed 1 bath cabin. The location is amazing and the views are to die for. Close enough to town but far enough to feel secluded. It's literally on a mountain which made the views absolutely stunning.

Great stay.

It was second time at this beautiful house. Very clean, comfortable, and has everything you need in a house. I'm looking at dates to stay for a 3rd time. The owner is great as well and always answers questions when they come up. Great communication too!

Beautiful Granite Dells View

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy, quiet home. The owner and co-host are hospitable and kind people. We loved the patio and firepit which has a spectacular view of the Granite Dells. The home has everything you need to cook meals and even do some laundry if needed. It was nice having the combo gas/smoker grill and dine outdoors on the patio. It is located very close to amenities and many outdoor adventures. All that is needed is to show up and have a relaxing time!

Nice little place!

Neat place. Nice location-we liked that it felt private, in the woods and yet close to town. Cozy inside. Loved all the unique wood. The dirt road was super bumpy and icy, but it was extra snowy/rainy when we stayed. Quite clean- minimal dog hair. Never needed to contact the host during our stay but she was very quick to respond when we booked and had questions beforehand. We appreciated just having to use the door code when we arrived. Very easy. Pretty nice place- we'd recommend it!

Thoroughly enjoyable

The house was so much more then what we expected. We were impressed with the condition of the home, and especially the Bear and Elk decor throughout.. There was plenty of supplies for our needs, and the location in Star Valley was just what we were looking for. Close enough to Payson for food and shopping, but far enough in the Pines to make it a very picturesque view from the home. The fire pit and view from the patio was awesome. The owner was accessible and found out that she is an author. My wife purchased her book, and is really enjoying it so far. We would definitely stay here again

BEAUTIFUL

I never use the term OMG, but OMG. The house was beautiful inside and out. It was in a perfect location. Everything was so close. Grocery stores, restaurants, hiking trails. I could go on. One issue came up, and the problem was taken care of right away. The inside of the house was comfortable. You'll have everything you need inisde. The bed in the bedroom was really comfortable. The house was so clean. Thank you, Faye!! I look forward to staying in your house again real soon.

Great Escape!

Our only regret about our stay here was that it was too short. We drove up for a weekend from Tucson to get out of the heat, and it was lovely. The location was just perfect for exploring the Mogollon Rim, Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, and the cute little towns on the way to and from. This is all we had time for in such a short period. The vacation home is really cute. The pics don't do it justice. We loved the bear theme that is all over the interior. We couldn't count them all. Great stargazing from the patio. Lovely sunsets. We'll be back. This was just what we needed. Also loved that we were able to bring our Golden Retriever!

Peace and quiet

I had a wonderful stay at the property in early July. The home is perched nicely on a hill with great views of the surrounding mountains and has plenty of trees around the property for shade and a feeling of seclusion. The patio area is a nice place to sit and enjoy the cool mornings and relaxing evenings. There is even a small bench across the road under some trees with a great view. There are basic amenities such as plates, cups, bowels, utensils, and cookware. The furniture is very unique and gives a warm cabin-like feel. The home is not big but there is plenty of room for one to two people. Cable TV is available and the owner leaves a copy of her book to read should you need some entertainment. Overall, it was a great stay for me and my dog.

I will prepare my home for others that way, and leave it that way when I travel. I will gladly share great places in this region to explore and would love suggestions to me, as well, when I visit as a guest elsewhere.
