This home is located directly on the golf course inside the gate at Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure, which is listed by National Geographic as one of the “Top 10 most beautiful man-made lakes in the world.” Enjoy the fresh mountain air and the star-filled mountain night skies from the balconies of this home. The resort is centered around Lake Lure, Bald Mountain Lake, and two championship Golf Digest 4-star rated golf courses. Passes to the resort *and a kayak* are included with this rental. This home is located directly on the golf course inside the gate at Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure, which is listed by National Geographic as one of the “Top 10 most beautiful man-made lakes in the world.” Enjoy the fresh mountain air and the star-filled mountain night skies from the balconies of this home. Several movies, including Last of the Mohicans and Dirty Dancing were filmed at Lake Lure. The resort, which is centered around Lake Lure, Bald Mountain Lake, and two championship Golf Digest 4-star rated golf courses, offers the following amenities. (Passes to the resort are included with this rental.) •Private lake-front beach with swimming area, pavilion, and playground •2 world-class golf courses – Bald Mountain and Apple Valley (named one of the most beautiful mountain courses by Golf Digest’s Places to Play ) - (course and cart fees apply) •Wellness center featuring fitness equipment, aerobic classroom, indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna •Full service spa •2 outdoor pools (open seasonally) •Outdoor lazy river (bring your own inner tube or purchase one at the snack bar) •Tennis, volleyball, pickleball, and basketball courts •Outdoor games including cornhole, horseshoes, giant Connect Four game, and giant chess/checker boards •Putt-putt course ($5 per person - includes two rounds of putt-putt) •Fitness trail open to both hikers and mountain bikers •Easy access to lake activities including boat tours and pontoon rentals •Kayak, canoe, pedal boat, and stand up paddle board rentals •3 restaurants and bars located within the resort (The Gardens, Pinnacle, and Legends on the Lake) •Several other restaurants located nearby The resort is 12 miles from Chimney Rock, 38 miles to Asheville, 28 miles to Hendersonville, 35 miles from the Biltmore Estate, 28 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, and 59 miles to Spartanburg. Our home offers two bedrooms – each with a king and a queen bed, two full baths and one half bath (all linens included), fully stocked kitchen, outdoor gas grill, washer/dryer, dishwasher, blender, 3 TV's, and wireless Internet service. The master bedroom has private balconies on the front and the back of the home. The second bedroom has its own private balcony in the back of the home. There is a large front porch with a swing which faces Bald Mountain and there is a fully furnished patio in the back of the home. This rental includes a kayak that may be used by our guests. The Kayak should only be used on Bald Mountain Lake as it is not have a registration sticker for Lake Lure. Although we do not live in the area, during your stay, we have friends in the resort who can assist with any needs. We will also be available via phone or text.

Great stay!

We loved our stay here! Very clean, very comfortable. Amazing hosts that were quick to respond to messages. The front porch was the perfect spot to enjoy the mountain views with a cup of coffee in the morning. 10/10 would certainly recommend

Our family absolutely loved the condo!!! It was really clean and spacious. The resort had so much to offer! Kevin is one of the best hosts we’ve ever rented from. Knowledgeable about the area, helpful with points that may be of interest and responds quickly.

Rumbling Bald

Kevin the host was very informative and kept us up to date on all the activities and surroundings areas. The townhouse was immaculate and very comfortable. We loved the view from the front porch and balcony overlooking the golf course mountains in the distance. The location was very quiet and close to everything. We definitely hope to return.

Personal thoughts

Very nice updated villa. I Never used kitchen, but was plenty big enough if you cook. Bedrooms upstairs, could use a full length mirror. Can tell women stayed.

We had such an amazing stay at this townhome in Lake Lure! The location truly couldn’t be better—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for relaxing. Watching the golfers go by, hearing the birds sing, and breathing in that fresh mountain air was exactly what we needed. The host was fantastic—super friendly, very responsive, and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Communication was seamless from start to finish. The townhome itself is absolutely beautiful, and honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even nicer in person. Everything was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The grounds are just gorgeous, well-kept, and so enjoyable to walk around. While we didn’t take full advantage of all the amenities at Rumbling Bald, it’s clear how valuable they are to have available. Getting in and out of the community was easy too—the drive from the townhome to the front gate is super quick and to the pool. We also had a great experience dining at Legends on the Lake—the food and atmosphere were both lovely. Pro tip: you can even order pizza to go, and I believe most of their menu is available for takeout, which is perfect if you want a relaxing night in. Starbucks is next to the Pro Shop at the front.Another bonus- Ingles supermarket is nearby and has literally anything you could need. We absolutely fell in love with Lake Lure and this property. We can’t wait to come back again soon!!

Time Well Spent

My family will most likely re-book this location. Kevin was an excellent host and the property is clean and well located. We enjoyed visiting Chimney Rock and the shops downtown, as well as used the Rumbling Bald resort passes at the Legends restaurant and wellness spa. Spaces bedrooms, living room and kitchen area with all the comforts of home. While we were there for just a couple nights, we returned home well rested and with the sense we had been gone for much longer because of the quality time we spent at this property. Highly Recommended!

Nice and clean condo for our two days visit. Cute updated decor and beds were very comfortable. Beautiful mountain views overlooking 3rd fairway. Good communication and instructions from the owner.

Lake Lure Condo

We have a ladies annual golf tournament in Lake Lure. This is the second year we stayed in this condo and we like it very much. We look forward to staying there again next year.

Fall Getaway

This is a great property. Has been completely updated and is very spacious. A beautiful location in Rumbling Bald Resort with great golf course and Mountain Views. Kevin is great, very responsive and makes the whole process seamless. The condo works well for families or a golf foursome. Lake Lure is a beautiful place to visit Nd this is very central to all the sights. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot

We absolutely loved this property! It is right on the golf course with incredibly beautiful mountain views and several balconies to view them from! Everything is updated and clean and fresh. We would definitely come back!

Great place for a family Visit

The property was clean and decorated well. My grandsons enjoyed the beach on Lake Lure. The adults enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the evenings. It was a good place for our daughter from Birmingham & our family from WV to meet.
