My stay was lovely. Everything was clean, and Happy was quick to provide both recommendations for the area as well as anything that I needed to be comfortable during my stay. I was able to work remotely using the wifi and a table, and would come back anytime!

Quaint stay in Kanab

We had a wonderful time at Happy's place. Everything you need to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. Plus, the accommodations with clean and had the necessary amenities, such as, coffee, toiletries, bedding, etc. Visiting our daughter was easy and enjoyable.

The property owner was very nice and helpful. We stayed there 1night only since we r traveling. Very nice and quiet place. I love how the bathroom is very clean even when we enter the room it was very clean.

We had our dinner outside where we stayed. I love the view.

Happy is a friendly host; the landscape is beautiful; the interior was decorated a little differently than in the pictures but it amounted to basically the same space and layout

Great stay with great views

The owner is a great guy and does everything to make your stay pleasant. Killer size bathroom really makes it nice too! Will visit again. Sure beats a sterile hotel room Close to town and easy to get around, Kanab is glorious!

Incredible stay and fantastic host

We had a great time in Happy's apartment, it is very homey, and clean, and it is very conveniently located for visiting Zion and Bryce national parks. Happy, thank you so much for your hospitality!

Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic time staying here. Happy was very helpful and generous, he makes some awesome homemade ice cream that he was always willing to share. He also gave us some awesome advice on where to go for dinner or for a morning coffee. I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone traveling through Kanab.

Perfect for a weekend in Zion

Happy is a great host and was very helpful with hike recommendations and ensuring we had a great stay. Bathroom is massive! Small nook with microwave, coffee pot, and mini fridge. Chairs out front to enjoy morning coffee. Location was great for Zion, about 1 hour to Zion via East entrance. Would recommend!

Perfect Getaway Spot for Relaxation

I went up to Kanab on personal walkabout and stayed at Happy's place. He is a great guy and the room I stayed in was very clean and comfy. Easy to get to Zion and Bryce. Will never forget this trip.

Amazing Kanab Hospitality

Thank you Happy for the hospitality and providing such an affordable yet wonderful space. Megan, my lady and I had a very long driving day from Tucson to Kanab, got in relatively late, and had two nights. Firstly, Kanab is stunning, and secondly the room was a perfect match to our needs. Happy greeted us when we arrived and was very pleasant. They afforded us the space we needed to unwind and relax for the next stage of our long road adventure. Although we had huge plans to explore the area, the comfort of the room decided for us that we would instead rest and recharge. Thank you for providing this place at such a great price to people. 10 stars out of 5!

Excelent place, location, and host

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and comfortable. Happy was very communicative. He was very friendly and provided great advice about activities to do in the area. I will be sure to stay with him the next time we come down to Kanab.

Quiet Kanab stay

Happy and ZuZu were both great at communicating and even offered an additional mattress when I had friends visit for a weekend! The place was very quiet and clean and close to downtown Kanab. The neighborhood felt very safe and having access to the VW Westfalia was super cool!

Great lodging in Kanab!

We had a fantastic stay in Kanab, in no small part due to our fantastic host. His knowledge of the areas in southern Utah and Arizona was amazing. The space was comfy and just what we needed - conveniently located adjacent to everything in a quiet residential area. His advice also never failed to provide great places to go and fantastic places to eat in the Kanab area. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Good stay

We only did an overnight but it was perfect for that. Clean, comfortable, quiet and dark at night. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m in the Kanab area.

Perfect Location!

I highly recommend booking the Bus Stop Inn! It was a perfect location for us to cross over into AZ to hike the Antelopes and Horse Shoe bend then the next day drive to Zion! Happy was an incredible host, he gave us great recommendations for hikes around the area and good restaurants. He also was always available to answer any questions we had at anytime with a quick response time. I can’t stress enough how great of an experiment we had!! Thanks again Happy we will definitely be returning!

Kathy and Happy enjoy meeting folks from around the world. We often take guests on local hikes, and as scheduling permits, enjoy a meal together. We live on the property. We also share two classic Volkswagen campers that guests can use for an evening meal or late night libations! A very cozy, unique experience.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This is a very private property with a stunning view of the local red cliffs, and a view of the Kaibab Plateau ( the northern half of the Grand Canyon). It's also remarkably quiet, and very dark at night: you can see the Milky Way and stargaze. It's only four minutes to the center of town.
