Master Suite with sitting room, single floor, wheelchair accessible, comfortable amenities, with two bedrooms two baths, located near downtown Kanab, in a quiet, rural neighborhood where you can enjoy the serenity of the Colorado River Plateau and the Vermillion Cliff formation of the area. Enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets and beautiful dark night skies, sunny days and gorgeous cloud formations. Sit on the front porch, eat or play cards, enjoy the dark, starry night skies. ►*Please note this property is best suited for mature adults, so no children allowed. No oversize vehicles/RV's or trailers (there is not a parking area for them). Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. (Mountain Time), and check out time is 10:00 a.m. (Mountain Time).*◄

Mom’s place is lovely and comfortable. We would choose to stay there again. Host is super attentive.

We visited both Zion and Grand Canyon North Rim during our stay and the drive was ok. Highly recommend.

Great stay at Mom’s Place

One of the most comfortable VRBO stays! The house was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with everything a guest would need. The location was both quiet and conveniently close to town. If ur looking for a comfortable homey feel, this is the place!

Moms Place

We all felt like we were staying at our mom’s home. Clean, comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make meals. Quiet neighborhood, close to town. We LOVED our stay at mom’s place. Close to Bryce Canyon and local hiking trails and close to town. Kanab is an awesome town!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood not too far from town. The home is very clean and well stocked. Joan will help you with anything that you need and can offer insights on things to do in the area.

Visit to Kanab

This property is in a very quiet part of town. Everything is easily accessible. It is a huge property fully stocked with coffee and tea. It was very comfortable giving privacy and quiet to both of us. It is a beautiful place to stay.

Wonderful stay in Kanab

My husband and I stayed for two weeks. We were so impressed how well this house was clean, equipped with all household items, and nicely decorated. We felt like staying at home of relatives or friends. Location was quiet, on the outskirts of Kanab but still convenient to everything. We liked eating on the front porch and look at the Kaibab plateau. Also Cottonwood trailhead was within walking distance. We hope to be back soon.

Fantastic stay!

Cleanest vrbo I've ever stayed at

If I could give it extra stars for cleanliness, I would. This house is extremely well taken care of and is fully stocked with everything you need. This was our second time staying here and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Excellent Place

This house was in an ideal location for all our hiking trips (Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon North Rim, Kodachrome and some local Kanab hiking). It was clean, tidy, had everything we needed to feel like we were at home. Joan was a pleasure to deal with and we would highly recommend booking this house.

Fantastic location

Right in the middle of everything we wanted to see. House was great and well worth the price. My buddy really enjoyed the books on the local history - his first time visiting the U.S. Great touch. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay

Love the house and what the host does to make it so nice to visit. Lots of space and amenities the decor is thoughtful and eclectic. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable if you like an evening stroll like us. Sitting on the porch and listening to the birds in all the mature trees or stargazing at night is so relaxing. Convenient short drive to town center. Definitely would stay there again. Mom would be proud.

Clean, Comfy and Homey

Wonderful home with great master suite/bath/sitting room. Fully equipped, clean and cozy. This isn't like staying in a model home, but more like being a guest in a well-cared for home. Joan was a great host!

Zion and Bryce trip

The pitchers for this house does not do it justice. The house has a really nice layout, was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Joan has supplied the house with anything you might forget. We will definitely plan to stay here again on a trip West.

Perfect Getaway

This place was amazing. I've stayed at a lot of VRBOs but this was the best. 5 Minutes to town. Peaceful location, saw a deer next door and 3 chickens came to visit. Cleanliness was above and beyond. Everything you want was there. We played games on the front porch and had a ball. Would recommend this house to anyone. Thanks Joan

Mom's Home

This home is very nice. Very clean inside and out. And the price is very reasonable. Everything you need is provided. The Master bedroom Bed is very comfortable. Joan is a Great host. I will definitely look for this property when I head to Kanab Again. Utah never disappoints.

Perfect Home away from Home

This house was amazing, it literally felt like we were at home. Joan was super responsive and a great host. The house was clean and stocked with everything you needed. She had an entire counter of things to do in the area, it was like a mini visitor center. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning and the lot was a corner lot which made it private. The location for Kanab is just a couple of miles. We stayed in 4 VRBOs in our trip to all the parks and this was our favorite, highly recommend.

I have lived in the area since 1978 but am originally from Oakland, California. I instantly
fell in love with Southern Utah! The landscape is like nowhere on earth and the sky is so
blue you'll wonder if it's real! I love the outdoors and always have. I love gardening,
hiking, walking the dogs and rockhounding. If you're a rockhound this is the place for you!
My husband and I love riding our motorcycle through Zion National Park! I worked for many years in drug and alcohol prevention education and now am part-owner in the local pet store.
We'd love to have you stay at Mom's and we can guide you to all the out-of-the-way
places nearby.

Mom's Place is actually that - my Mom's House. She moved next door to us from Walnut
Creek, CA in 2006 after my Dad died. She moved all her lovely furniture and belongings
into this charming single story home. We were very lucky to have her here for ten years
before she passed away last year. Kanab is a much safer place to live than California!

You'll love the layout of the home. First, everything is wheelchair accessible. The
livingroom/diningroom is light and spacious. The master bedroom has a "retreat" room
which we use as a TV/sitting area. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the quiet
with views of the Vermillion cliffs.
