A quiet, cozy, comfortable, and happy cottage by Falls Lake with a secluded yard. This property is centrally located between Durham, Raleigh and Wake Forest. About 25 min to Research Triangle Park and 20 minutes to RDU Airport. 

Two acres fully fenced yard/ enjoyable outdoor spaces. 1 King and 1 Queen. Patio and fire pit for cool evenings and great porch space with TV. 

Less than 1 mile to the Falls Lake Boat ramp located on HWY 50 just across from the Mountain to Sea Trail. Well behaved dogs welcome and must be attended both in and outdoors.

We thought this would be a one time trip to visit anti-dog family members in the area, but this house was so great that we will be back. Our only regret was not having more time to spend on the property, so we will make sure we make that time when we return.

This property went above and beyond as pet-friendly. Everything was in great condition and the outside space was its own form of paradise. We look forward to staying here the next time we are in the area.

This was our second stay at the cottage and once again we loved it. Charming, well appointed, comfy beds, stocked kitchen and even fresh eggs in the fridge. The backyard is beautiful and perfect for dogs. In fact, the whole place was perfect for us and our dogs. Molly is an excellent host. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in town.

We loved our stay! The house was perfect for us and our pups. It had everything we needed and more. The backyard and back porch were amazing. Molly was the nicest and most gracious host!

We so enjoyed our stay! We spent 2 weeks here and made a lot of memories. The cottage was beyond comfortable for both ourselves and our 2 large dogs. This is what is meant by the phrase “home away from home”. Molly is an exceptional host. She anticipated our every need and provided for it. So many pillows and quilts and dog beds… She even left us a dozen farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator for our first breakfast there. The house was immaculate. It’s actually very spacious even though it is just 2 bedrooms. The back porch and backyard was a wonderful place to entertain our family and friends. I can’t express enough how appreciative we were of the huge fenced in backyard for our dogs. If you have large dogs, you will not find a more accommodating place. Highly recommended.

Very nice home. Our dogs loved the dog beds. Grandson loved Easter egg hunting in the big backyard. Will definitely rent again.

This place is like a Disneyland for dogs! Our girl dogs enjoyed it so much and of course, that made their Mommy and Daddy so happy! Molly supplied everything you could need for both you're doggies and their peeps, plus everything you didn’t know you needed. The thought and the detail that has gone into this rental is unbelievable and we couldnt have enjoyed it more. Book it, you won't be disappointed!

This cottage might be one of the best rental homes ever! It is absolutely charming - well decorated, comfy beds, great kitchen & appliances, beautiful fully fenced back yard and deck with a TV and porch bed. Perfect for your dogs - my dog loved the basket of toys! Molly was wonderful to work with. We will absolutely be staying here again when we are back in the area!!

We loved our stay at the cottage. The home was clean, well stocked, and in a peaceful location with easy access to nearby towns. Molly was welcoming and very responsive. The farm fresh eggs were very thoughtful. Our dog loved the fenced back yard. We would definitely return!

Secret Garden

What a special place! Everything about this place is beautiful - surrounded by wood and flowers, outdoor living at its finest. A safe haven for our dog with vast fenced in area to explore. Owner offered many thoughtful amenities, including dog beds and toys.

This is the first time that I have left a review saying that I will stay here again for any VRBO or Airb&b that I have ever rented before. This is a great place and the back porch is an oasis!! The yard is full of flowers and bird feeders, so there is lots to take in while you enjoy the porch. If you are lucky enough to bring your dog, this place will be the best vacation that they ever had. The back yard is huge and completely fenced in. You can relax while they explore. There is a Harris Teeter right down the road and the kitchen is fully stocked, so if you want to stay in and cook it’s all right there. The home is clean and the beds are comfortable. Molly is quick to respond if you have any questions. Molly the owner operates a dog rescue nearby which is an awesome bonus! We can’t wait to get back up and stay at this home and explore or take one of the rescues for a hike. Great place!

My Stay in a Peaceful place

I stayed in this beautiful home on the way down to NC and I liked it so much I booked it again on my way home. It was just a wonderful stay. The patio and the yard are where I had my coffee in the morning as I watched hummingbirds. The home decorations made me smile 😊

Visit with our so sons.

The property was absolutely lovely and so much fun with the clever canine touches and whimsical decor. We were visiting our 2 sons who live in Raleigh and Durham. This was a perfect in between spot. We hiked, went to the Raleigh flea market and out to dinner.

Property is ckean, beautiful and super pet friendly. Wespen 90 percent of the time outside on the deck and patio.

Absolutely beautiful and comfortable

We fell in love with this place. It’s probably my favorite rental this far. It is very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The outdoor space is incredible. You cannot help but feel revived after stepping foot onto the property. See you next year, and thank you for sharing your incredible space, Molly!

A Perfect 10

Molly is an excellent host for this lovely cottage. Her attention to details is above all the rest. We loved how peaceful it is and what a wonderful back porch to hang out on with a fenced in backyard. Our springer spaniel Oakley loved it. We plan on booking this cottage every time we are in the area.

Cute house, great host

I always get nervous when I book a rental that has perfect reviews, but this property earned its rating fair and square. Great outdoor space and cozy (but spacious) indoor space. Plus it has my favorite thing of all - no weird restrictions on the thermostat! The power went out for a little while on the first day, but the host was great about communicating with me regarding updates from the power company.
