Welcome to Xanadu...
A Secluded & Relaxing Waterfront Oasis.
Completely renovated and updated. Fully air-conditioned 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath 1,800sf house with magnificent views of Elizabeth Harbour and Stocking Island.
2 King suites, 1 with ensuite. 3rd. bedroom hosts a Queen.
Wifi.
2 patios for finding some 'me' time.
A large deck that spans the front of the house to catch up on rays in one of the chaise lounges, relax on the couch and watch the boats sail into the Harbour or dine alfresco with the outside dining table that seats 4-6 people, all the while watching the ever changing magical hues of the turquoise water.
Indoors- enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, 5 burner gas stove, elec. oven, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, etc... stocked pantry. Everything you need, just add your groceries.
Dining table that fits 6-8 people.
Large sunroom overlooking the deck and the harbour.
Netflix and a library of DVD's in the tv room. Also games and puzzles if you care to take a day off from exploring.
Mere steps to the waters edge. A rock shoreline with steps leading into the water is perfect for snorkeling and hunting for sand dollars. (Snorkel gear included.) Also 3 kayaks and 1 paddle baord.
Xanadu is 10 minutes from the airport.
Walking distance to a grocery store and liquor store.
3 minute drive to the closest beach, Jolly Hall Beach (One of the ones you can see from the house. And one of our faves.)
Numerous restaurants less than 5 minutes away.
We do suggest renting a car so you can explore Exuma and what it has to offer...
Rental boats available at Minns Water Sports.
Take an excursion to swim with the pigs, play with the iguanas and snorkel in Thunderball Grotto where they filmed a couple of Bond, James Bond movies. ;)

The house was stunning and very well stocked. The hosts were wonderful and communicated very well. The side that faces the ocean, wow it is so breathtaking waking up to that view! I would def recommend this house!!

We had a wonderful stay a Xanadu House. It was exactly as described and we had everything we needed. The Hosts, Frank and Lisa, were quick to respond to any questions and provided lots of information and recommendations. The views are amazing. The beaches are breathtaking. We will be back again soon!

Our stay exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property was exceptionally well cared for. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation.The views were absolutely breathtaking and made every morning and evening memorable. One of our favorite features was the availability of kayaks, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and other equipment that allowed us to fully enjoy the surrounding water and outdoor activities without having to bring or rent anything ourselves.The attention to detail throughout the property was remarkable. Every need had been anticipated, and it was evident that the owners genuinely care about providing an outstanding guest experience.This was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. Exceptional in every way, we would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable getaway.

Great Vacation Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying in Xanadu. It lived up to our expectations and more! The views were unbelievable!! It was very close to the airport and numerous restaurants!! We would love to stay here again!

We had an incredible stay at this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.The view alone is absolutely breathtaking. The home itself was spotless and very well maintained, which made settling in easy and comfortable from the moment we arrived.One of the highlights was the easy access to the water. We spent time kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling right from the property, which made the experience feel both convenient and special. The owner went above and beyond by providing beach essentials like chairs, an umbrella, and snorkeling gear—small touches that made a big difference.The kayaks and paddle boards were a fantastic bonus and got plenty of use during our stay. A particularly memorable moment was watching sea turtles right by the water—something we won’t forget anytime soon.In addition, the owner was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, making communication easy and ensuring we had everything we needed for a great stay.Overall, this was a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. We would absolutely stay here again.

A Slice of Paradise

Amazing hosts. Extremely easy to communicate with.The house was perfectly suited for what we needed. The access to the water made for some great memories kayaking and lounging. Would recommend and stay again.

Xanadu is PARADISE!

Took my family and some extended friends to Exuma and stayed a Xanadu. I am glad we chose this property as it was perfect for us. We loved everything and will definitely return!

Beautiful Property; Great Location

We enjoyed our time at Xanadu House and appreciated all of the information shared ahead of our trip. This home was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed snorkeling on the shore at the house. The kitchen was well stocked and full size shower products were provided. Communication with the owner and manager was excellent. Exuma is a beautiful place and Xanadu was the perfect headquarters for our trip!

Awesome views

The house was in a great location with breathtaking views. In a great location with amazing access to the ocean and local stores and restaurants. Will defiantly be returning.

Wonderful house, hosts and location

Host communication was stellar with timely responses, great recommendations and information to prepare you for the trip. Location was central with less than 30 minute access to either end of the island. Quiet and one awesome view to wake up to each morning. Can’t go wrong with this one

Perfect location with a perfect view

This property was perfect for our family of 6. Comfortable beds, perfect location on the island. Close to grocery store and restaurants in Georgetown. House has all the amenities needed for a perfect beach day.

Spectacular View!

This cozy and cute home tucked away on a hill of Exuma has quite the view. Wake up or spend your day viewing the best of what Exuma has to offer at this home. Best hosts by far, you will not be disappointed staying at Xanadu house.

Great Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay! The house was even better and bigger than the pictures showed. We rented a boat and had a great time exploring all of the beaches and Stocking Island. Lisa was very helpful in getting us everything we needed prior to arrival. The house was very well equipped. We would recommend staying at Xanadu!

Fab Fun in the Warm Sun

Xanadu was a great place for 4 winter weary pals to relax and just enjoy everything that Great Exhuma has to offer. Next time I would probably pack food so that I could take advantage of the well equipped kitchen that Xanadu has to offer.

We did a lot of island hoping to find the one that was right for us.
As soon as we stepped foot on Exuma we knew it was the island for us.
From the magical colors of the ocean to the friendly locals.
Then we found Xanadu. Or should I say it found us. :)
It felt like home when we walked through the door.
Then we saw the view. An ever changing, surreal, jaw dropping, gorgeous water view.
Then we got to work fixing her up. Giving her the TLC she hadn't been getting in awhile.
Now we're able to enjoy all of her spender and share it with others. :)
