We loved this place and the location. Some care re the parking stipulations is needed, but the host was helpful and we experienced no issues. Being able to walk the square is a real bonus.

We had a wonderful stay! There was a slight issue with the keypad upon arrival but they were very timely and wonderful to work with! Will definitely be staying in this beautiful and quiet little apartment right off the square in Carthage!

A great place to stay for your getaway

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was very nice, clean and spacious. If visiting Carthage, give this place a try.

I loved this cute little getaway. When an issue arose with the lock not locking, the property manager was there within the hour to solve the problem. I highly recommend this beautiful place to stay if you are in Carthage!

I liked the location-1/2 block off the square. Safe, quiet, good parking availability. We walked to a good bar and grille for dinner. Decor was cute, or as we in the family call it, artsy fartsy. The entry stairs are very scary for the 70 group carrying bags upstairs. And for some reason the a/c didn’t seem to be up to par in the middle of the night. But, a table fan was provided. Other parts of the day it’s fine. The wooden bed side rails are hard for little old ladies to negotiate without getting bruises on the back of the thighs. I did like the little Civil War Museum next door. I love places that have character, and this one had plenty. We enjoyed it, and I would recommend it for the younger or more agile set.

Wonderful!

Absolutely perfect! We were looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway while our kids were at a nearby summer camp, and this was it. The property is super clean (and I'm kinda picky), cozy, and quiet. We immediately felt at home. Wish we had a few more nights!

Quick to Accommodate

Beautiful place. Comfortable. The air conditioner stopped working and the owners promptly provided a portable AC then had the main unit fixed the following day. They were very kind.
