Nestled on the edge of Carthage, this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath retreat is the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of work or travel.

Samantha says:
“Honestly, this was hands down the best trip we’ve taken so far! It was very slow-paced and relaxing. We walked to the lil store behind Cody’s place at night and all we saw was fireflies!! Me and my baby walked out in the morning and saw a red-tailed hawk! Would recommend! 10/10”

The Space
Sleeps up to 4: One comfy full-size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom, all decked out with fresh linens for a restful night’s sleep.

Modern bathroom: Clean and well-stocked with plush towels, toiletries, and a spacious shower.

Fully equipped kitchen: Whip up meals with ease using the stove, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Complimentary coffee and tea provided!

Overall stay was as expected. Location is great. Bedding was clean and neat. Grass was very high and out of control which was a nuisance for taking our dog out.

The house was so clean, super cute and easy to get to from the horse show. Check in and check out was fast and easy which for us coming in super late and leaving very early was fantastic! We will definitely book again every time we are in town for shows.

Nice and as advertised. I like the extra touches of toiletries in the bathroom and more blankets in each closet. Only avoidable concern was not getting a response after learning the stove only worked on broil. I let them know as soon as I figured it out but got no response. We were woken up on Sunday morning at 0700 to a neighbor playing their drums, which is understandably outside of the control or influence of the owner. Overall I would recommend.

Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. It did have an old house smell upon arrival but we cranked the air conditioning down and used an air freshening spray and that seemed to help. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the house but it was a good place to sleep and shower.

The place was great for our stay to visit the Precious Moments Chapel. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. It’s conveniently located one block from the convenience store, grocery store, Dollar General and Scooters. My little suggestion would be to have a mirror in each bedroom. We had three women getting ready and only one bathroom having the only mirror in the house. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again if we make any more trips to Carthage!
