Traditional Cape Cottage in a peaceful bayside neighborhood. This recently renovated home has a kitchen, a large, open living room/dining area with brick fireplace, and a full bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms (one with Queen bed; the other two each have two (2) twins with one room large enough for the beds to be pushed together) and a half bathroom, as well as access to the large sun deck.

In addition to the sun deck upstairs, there is a large screened-in porch on the main floor for bug-free outdoor dining, evening cocktailsbb or rainy-day reading. Outdoor amenities include a fire pit, gas grill and outdoor shower. Brand new insulation throughout and A/C will keep things cool on hot summer days. The house has Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer for your convenience, as well as beach chairs, sand toys and lots of books, toys and games for kids of all ages.

Pleasant Point is a lovely neighborhood with quiet streets, wonderful walking trails to Fox Marsh and birdwatching at Drummer Cove. The neighborhood landing, Pleasant Point, is a short walk from the house. It is perfect for swimming, paddle-boarding or kayaking at high tide and great for beach walking or exploring as the tide goes down. Our kids love to chase crabs around the beach at low tide!

The house is an easy (bike or car) ride to the beginning of the Cape Cod Rail Trail, ocean and bay beaches, ponds and town center. You can even go clamming at nearby Indian Neck beach. A quick ride across Rt 6 will take you to PB Boulangerie, a beloved French restaurant/bakery with lines out the door on most summer weekends, and The Blue Willow, with great breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. From there, you're right at the foot of Lecount Hollow Road, which takes you over to the beaches and kettle ponds on the ocean side.

This is our family vacation home and we have young kids so it will hopefully feel comfortable for other families to use - you are welcome to enjoy the various toys, puzzles and games that we have there. There is a pack 'n play and high chair and we can also recommend nearby options for renting baby toys/equipment. Please note, however, that the home is not baby-proofed - no locks on the cabinets or gates on the staircase, etc.
