Please note, there are no stores close to the property. Make sure to stock up on food and supplies in Visalia or Fresno on your way up the hill. While there are a few small convenience stores for last minute needs, they are about 30 minutes away from the cabin. You won't find any fuel stations between Squaw Valley and Kings Canyon National Park either.

Squaw Valley offers pizza, coffee, and fuel, Near the cabin is Pinehurst Lodge, offering lunch and dinner most days. There is also a beautiful trail along a stream at Cedarbrook Picnic Area for a peaceful walk or hike.

Please keep in mind that during the winter months, there may be snow. Make sure to check the weather conditions and bring chains as a precaution when visiting the Parks. Plan your perfect mountain getaway now at our cozy cabin in Pinehurst.

Family vacation to Sequoia and Kings Canyon

The cabin fit our needs perfectly and was centrally located for our areas of interest. The host was VERY responsive and easy to communicate with. They even gave us pointers for our trip. The cabin is located close to Pinehurst Bar and Grill and we visited there one night to pick up a to-go order and the bartender and locals inside were super friendly. We would definitely stay again and recommend this cabin to anyone looking to visit the 2 parks. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!!!

Quiet getaway near Kings Canyon

The property was peaceful and beautiful. Nicely decorated, very clean, comfortable beds. Well-equipped for an enjoyable stay. Conveniently located--just a short drive to the Grant's Grove area of the park. Easy and timely communication with the host. Highly recommend!

Comfortable cabin

We used the cabin as a home base for cycling in Kings Canyon National Park. Communications and access were easy. The home is modest, clean, well equipped and comfortable..

Beautiful setting with ideal access to National Parks

Everyone says Three Rivers or Dunlap to enter the parks but this location seems the perfect spot to quickly get to the junction for Sequoia or Kings Canyon. Plus a beautiful location and fantastic value for spacious home.

Cozy cabin

We loved our short but sweet stay here and wished we would have spent another night! So peaceful and super cozy and comfy beds. Word of advice: don’t drive here in the night. It’s quite an….adventure. Lol

As good as advertised!

We loved our stay here! We were greeted with a family of turkeys one morning, and 3 deer the next. Beds were comfy, shower was hot, owner was quick to help. We stayed for our trip to Kings Canyon and Sequoia. Worked great!

Cozy Cabin In The Woods

The home was very cozy. We enjoyed sitting outside on the back deck watching the turkeys, baby quails and listening to all the birds. The beds were very comfortable. Thank you to the owner who was very accomodating when we had to change the dates of our stay.

Nicely updated and Immaculately clean

The pictures don't do it justice. We really enjoyed our stay! It was great to be able to cook a meal and do laundry after long days in the Park. The back deck is very private and a great place to watch birds.

Fantastic Cabin for a National Park Visit

We had a great stay at the Gilmore Cabin while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks. The cabin was spotless and had all of the essentials. The view from the back deck was great for drinking coffee in the mornings. We had one question about the lights during our stay and Cheyenne was quick to respond. Would definitely recommend the cabin and would stay again if our travels bring us back to Sequoia/Kings Canyon!

Cozy cabin

My sister and I stayed. We hiked each day in kings canyon and sequioa. The kings canyon entrance was about 25 minutes. Very curvy roads but easy access to the parks. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. There’s a cool little park down the road with a creek and little waterfalls. Nice deck out back and we watched the stars each night! The host was very responsive to our questions.

Great mountain cabin!

This cabin was easy to get to, clean and very comfortable. It was only 20 miles to Grant Grove in Kings Canyon, so convenient location as well. The beds were great as was the couch & chair in the living room. It has a huge deck off the back which was fantastic for looking at the night sky and stars. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We loved our stay! Thank you for sharing your cabin, it just added having a nice place to come back to after hiking and exploring in the National Park.

Bellissima casetta

La casetta è comodissima per raggiungere l’ingresso Big Stump di Sequoia. È isolata ma con tutto quello che serve per un soggiorno comodo e rilassante. Se proprio vogliamo possiamo dire che non c’è un televisore ma non vi mancherà ! Bellissima casa - da provare per crederci.

Miramonte Cabin

The cabin itself was clean and well maintained, however there was extremely limited cell phone service and internet which made it difficult to find gas, food, National parks, etc. It would be helpful to make a list of things nearby with directions or maybe even provide a map for future guests so they know where to go. Also, my elderly mother requested a shower mat so future guests don’t slip and provide a shower grab bar as well. All in all, great little hideaway!

Amazing cabin!

The cabin was even better than expected, very peaceful beautiful location so close to NP and very clean and comfortable. The cabin was well set up, modern yet quaint, with incredibly comfortable beds. The deck was great for relaxing after a day in the Park. Highly recommend.

Perfect Quite little Cabin

This cabin was exactly what we needed! Just enough space, quiet, and comfy. Thank you so much for sharing this place with us. It was a great home base while we visited King's Canyon and Sequoia. Warning to future visitors, follow the check-in directions from the host and not google! Google will get you there but it will be via nerve-wracking single-lane roads!
