Four Generations

This was a great place for our 4 generations. A downstairs bedroom with the bathroom right next to it and three bedrooms upstairs. The lawn was perfect for gathering and games.Tuni was very responsive and a lovely host

Family gathering

Perfect describes our week at Tuni’s lake house. Accommodations fit our family to a T! Kids loved swimming. Adults loved view, rest, and relaxation. Will definitely return. Thank you!!!

Wonderful House

This house has a huge amount of space, and you can’t beat walking out the back door and being right on the lake. The house has all the amenities you need - cooking utensils, pots, pans; charcoal grill; picnic table; private dock if you bring a boat; and lots more. Owner was really fast with communication.

The location of the house and view was amazing, however we arrived at a very unclean place. Pretty much the most unclean place I have stayed at in my very heavily used VRBO experience. I have always been highly rated on VRBO and do take the ratings seriously. Here are some of the things we found.The place was obviously not cleaned before we arrived. There were cob and spider webs throughout the house on the ceiling and walls. There were bugs all over the front living room ceiling and the lakefront porch was also covered in webs and bugs. We spent nearly 2 hours cleaning the house for kids and grandkids and that still did not put a dent overall.We knew the place did not have air and knew it would be a hot week, however many of the windows could not be opened because they did not have screens and many of the screens that were there had holes allowing wasps to get in. I must have killed 10 wasps in the house over the week. The bathrooms, tubs and shower were also not clean. Most of the dishes needed to be washed before using because they were dirty. There were old clothes in the closet and shoes growing mold. The stove and vent were very dirty. The fridge had mold in the seal and the outside was all rusted. The dryer ruined several articles of clothing due to them catching in the rusted drum.Fortunately we did not have rain for the week and could spend the majority of the time outside.

The good & the not so good!

Perfect lake view and dock access to use lake. Sandy bottom starts about halfway out dock. Lawn perfect for sitting, reading, relaxing or a lawn game. Dishwasher so rusted out that dishes fell through the broken areas. All fry pans had seen better days.

Vacation time

Very nice house and excellent location. Disappointed that for all that money there was no gas grill for cooking! Squirrels or rodents running across the ceilings at 6am was not pleasant either.

Family Vacay

The house is spacious and sits on a lovely piece of property on Lake Chautauqua. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, the bedrooms are large. A first floor bedroom and bathrooms were perfect since my husband has trouble with stairs. Beds were decently comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house is older and no A/C. And We happened to spend the hottest most humid week but were comfortable with all the large fans they had. It cooled down at night. The water around the dock isnt real deep and was perfect for my granddaughter who is learning to swim. The outside porch that faces the lake gives shade all day, and if you want sun there are lounge chairs on the grass. We enjoyed spending time at this house.

Disappointed

Any pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils etc. had to be washed before using. Very poor house keeping especially considering the times.

Perfect for family, needs tlc

We loved this house. It was way bigger than we expected. There is one very large bedroom with a living space in it, that could easily fit one family of 5. Then another large bedroom that could easily fit a family of 4. And then 2 other single queen size bed rooms. 2 living rooms and 3 bathrooms. The property was flat, so not difficult to walk out to the dock. We hooked a fishing boat and a pontoon boat up to the posts off the dock. The water is perfect height for kids to swim off the dock. And the location was perfect for kayaking. The only negative I have is that the house does need some tlc with things like the windows and there is not air conditioning. But the house was extremely comfortable and well cared for in a cleanliness sense.

Great location right on the lake with a nice yard. Also on a quiet street. Home functional but could use updating. Had plenty of sleeping arrangements for the family and areas to spread out.

Ashville lake housr

We had a family lake vacation and really enjoyed the spacious house, yard, dock and use of extra kayak. The lake was more algae green than we hoped for but we still had a wonderful stay. Owner let us park a our boat trailer across the street which was very nice. House is older but very well equipped for lake life.

wonderful family vacationi

The house is well equipped and spacious, right on the lake with dock, boat tie up and a breezy open front porch. The location is convenient to shopping, Bemus Pt and the Chautauqua Institution. We hope to come back again and again.
