You can't get any closer to the DC action and the fabulous life of Washington.
This large row house features 3 traditional bedrooms with 3.5 bath.
The lower level has a open bedroom layout and full bath no door.
The row house lies in the historic U st street and has kept many original features, giving it a great charm. While it has modern appliances and facilities.
This spacious home-away-from-home can accommodate up to 10 people. It's great for small groups, families, or long-term stay.

The home has a large open-concept layout featuring a modern, eat-in kitchen that's fully equipped for your stay. Great for entertaining! The home features three bedrooms.
The master suite has a King bed and Full bath,
The living room has a Queen memory foam sofa bed.
Bedrooms two feature one Full bed.
Bedroom three two twin size beds, FYI this room has no door just a certain.
The lower level has a queen size bed and full bath but do door. it's a open concept.
We also have a queen size air mattress.

Our home is a WALKER’S PARADISE, with a Walk Score of 95!! WALKING DISTANCE to 2 METRO STATIONS (Shaw/Howard univ., or U St./African-American Civil War Memorial at Vermont Ave. and U St.). Or you can take a short taxi/Uber ride to the monuments and museums. After a fun day of sightseeing, come home to two dining options just steps outside the front door: a new neighborhood pasta bar on one end of the block and a delicious vegan restaurant at the other end! You can also walk to tons of restaurants and nightlife on lively U Street or 14th St. Afterwards, catch a concert at the 9:30 Club. You're also within walking distance of the beautiful campus at the historic Howard University. We’re perfectly situated to explore all DC has to offer!

Perfect DC Stay

Perfect VRBO stay for my family holiday DC trip. We love to cook and the kitchen at this VRBO was perfect layout for all the "chefs" to cook in the open layout. The house is extremely comfortable. and the location is close to everything.

Nice house in great location

This property was in the middle of everything and made it easy for use to get around. Few minor issues in the house but the owner was great and got them sorted right away. We really enjoyed our stay.

Vintage retreat

It was enjoyable to stay in a vintage row house. The furnishings were dated, the toilet ran constantly, the basement TV didn’t work, we are allocated few towels for the amount of people in our group. Lots of rules to abide by. Location was great.

Nice getaway!

We really enjoyed our trip. Nice for two families with great options for entertainment and location. The website was a little deceiving on bedroom and bathroom sizes, but still manageable. Really enjoyed the location to the metro and design of the home. Some of the furniture was worn and needed replaced but the beds were very comfortable. Both families loved having the option to have entertainment for the kids and space outside of a hotel room!

Great house in a great location

We truly had a wonderful time at this property and loved so much about it. My only complaint is that the property owner was not responsive -- at all. We are pretty good travelers and able to get around ourselves, but if we weren't, or if we had trouble accessing the property we would have been in a bad position with the lack of communication. The house itself is wonderful and very comfortable, even for a fairly long week long stay.

Perfect girls weekend getaway

We could not have been happier with this property for our girls weekend. The location was perfect for walking to great shops, restaurants, and the Metro and we appreciated the opportunity to purchase a parking pass since we did have a vehicle and needed street parking. The home was well furnished and as advertised. There was more than enough space for the 4 of us and with 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths, we were all able to have our own space. We loved the neighborhood because it was lively and there always seemed to be people out and about - including into the late evenings - which did not bother us at all, but we all live in large cities and are used to this. If you are a group who appreciates very quiet neighborhoods - especially in the evenings, you may want to explore a different property. The owner was quick to communicate and check in and out was a breeze - super simple. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great home, location and overall experience in the heart of DC. Thank you!

Washington get away

This is my first time staying in Washington DC. My 16 year old daughter, my spouse, and my sister and brother in law came along. The town home was beautiful. The shower in the master bedroom was not only beautiful but amazing! The street that the condo was located on was very close to everything. I enjoyed delivery of my groceries for sure! The 2 things that made this trip somewhat uncomfortable was the nightlife that occurred each night in this “quiet residential” neighborhood and trying to communicate with the owner before we arrived. When I say nightlife, I mean loud yelling and screaming of individuals on the streets of this neighborhood at all hours of the night, police, helicopters, you name it. I get we were in Washington DC, but saying that the neighborhood was quiet in the welcome binder of this condo, was a big stretch. When it came to communicating with the owner before check in, I would email or text and get a response maybe 24 hours later. The parking was very confusing with the construction happening on our street when we arrived and when I called, he finally answered and was very short with me about it. However we did enjoy the stay and enjoyed learning how to move about in this city. We will be back but I am not sure to this location.

Ideal location

House in a very convenient location for sightseeing but also for everyday requirements ie groceries. Very comfortable and kitchen very well equipped. Unfortunately the Ninja Blender did not work but there was a back up one that did! The pool table was much appreciated by the male members of the group. We had a great time catching up as a family and also attending my granddaughters wedding which was the reason for our journey. My first time using VRBO and would have no hesitation to use again. Thank you for a memorable stay.

This property is only suitable for the under-30s

This is a two-bedroom townhouse (advertised as a 4-bd.) badly in need of more furniture, located in a superb location for young nightlife. There are two bedrooms with baths. And then there is a full-size bed stuck in the basement next to the pool table, and in the upstairs corridor, two twin beds. The house has dirty carpets, a power room with a loose toilet that only flushes occasionally, and the kind of lumpy used furniture we all had post-college, with no lamp tables or floor lamps for ambient light - just awful glaring overhead lighting. If you are a group of young people looking for a "party house," this is it. Didn't work for our family of 5 adults in town for a wedding, although the location is excellent.

First family trip to DC

We had some issues with parking because we didn’t know how the system worked and were a bit confused, but everything worked out and we loved the city and the house. A truly lovely home! Very spacious and close to lots of places. We loved it here.

Week in DC

Tremendous place in the perfect neighborhood. Loved walking for coffee and ice cream and bars. Metro very close to get down to attractions with ease.

Fantastic location.

8 to 10 would be the most people I would bring here. A king, a double, a full and two twins. The sofa is a pull out.

Great spot for a reunion

Stayed here with my boyfriend’s family to visit his brother that lives in DC. Great location, 10 minute walk to 14th street which was perfect since I had a sprained ankle. Loved all of the variety of restaurants nearby. The property itself was perfect, the twin room is small but the rest of the rooms are spacious! Planning on staying again!

Beautiful Place and Location

The house is beautiful just not functional. The bathrooms were small and if you are a big person it can be challenging. Also, the master suites bathroom shower fills up with water and you end up in a pool of bath water. Also, our sheets in the master bedroom were stained. The ice maker doesn’t work and there is a hole in the couch. I realized at the end of my trip that my parking pass had expired and in fact the passes were from e previous week and not for the time i was there. Overall a beautiful home and great location.

Cool rowhouse in great part of Georgetown

Beautiful house, quirky and fun to explore. Great basement room with pool table and poker table. Located in Georgetown, easy walk to 2 metro stations. Easy walk to coffee shops, Trader Joe’s, parks, and just fun neighborhood strolls to check out the houses. Highly recommend. Note- the bedrooms (except the master) are small with a capital S.

The Business Group Advantage

The property was as described on the RVBO web site. The location and access to everything was perfect. We had adequate places to work and to relax and that made the stay worth it.

Property as advertised

Make SURE you pay for and contact the property manage in advance to get a parking pass. We tried after we arrived and were not able to secure one. Nice property, well stocked and we would definitely stay again if we get the chance!

We enjoyed the location and the house very much. Too busy to stay at the house and play games or cook! Would love to stay longer. Next time. Perfect for our group! Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, fascinating history I’m sure!

Great location & great house!

This is a gorgeous home - the house was truly stocked with lots of essentials & then some which was a wonderful surprise. We have stayed other places & ended up having to pick up trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap, etc based on very limited supply . So we arrived with a lot of extras that we just didn’t need. There was a binder in the coffee table with all the things house related & suggestions for things close by. One note missing from the binder- street cleaning is Wed & Thurs so plan accordingly. We all missed the posted signs based on where we parked. Parking is a bit limited so just be aware. But again the location was great - the house was spotless - the refrigerator was touchy … we managed to restart the compressor & life was good. We wound totally stay here again.
