NEW LISTING! This Guadalupe waterfront property in downtown Kerrville across from "Tranquility Island" is a rare find! Just walk out the back door and enjoy the river trail, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming or just sit out on the patio and enjoy the breathtaking view! Close to restaurants, theater, park, river trail, Riverside Nature Center or just about anything in Kerrville since it's right downtown. You are also secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the park. We have fishing poles, bikes, indoor and outdoor games, lounge chairs and all the amenities you would expect from a parkside retreat. (RIVER ACCESS IS SHARED WITH THE MAIN HOUSE GUESTS)

Beautiful

The place was very clean and exactly what we needed. Perfect for a couple. The river is beautiful and we kayaked and fished. You can walk or bike to most places. Host is awesome and very accommodating. I will def book again.

Great Place to Stay!

We loved staying at this property. We wanted near to everything yet be near the Guadalupe River. It has been redone & is beautiful inside. The bed is King size which we loved. We would stay there again!

Perfect Weekend

Relaxing, peaceful, romantic, couldn't have asked for more. Lee and I always enjoy the loft. Great weekend getaway from Houston with all necessities and more provided, wine is a romantic touch!

Peaceful stay

Beautiful view, great place for a relaxing getaway. The apartment had everything we needed and the central location was so convenient. Walks on the trail especially enjoyable. We did not take advantage of kayaking or fishing…..maybe next time! Also Robin was highly responsive and the place was immaculately clean.

Anniversary Getaway

Great loft, great proximity to the parkway and river. Easy access to downtown. The biggest drawback is the neighborhood. Otherwise we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Spot on the River

We had a blast staying here and used this property as a great "home base". We ran around all over the hill country knowing that we had a nice quiet place to come back to. The river front is nice and the property is well kept. We did not use the kayaks or river toys, but they were easy to get to and use if we wanted. It is very centrally located in Kerrville with easy access to lots of activities.

Bird’s eye view

Terrific place! Attention to detail, inside and out. Extras like gas grill, Mayas, River viewand access. Great seating by the River, on the patio, and our upstairs deck! Well outfitted kitchen. Nice decor. Great landscaping. Private entrance and deck from the main house. Quiet and beautiful. Rubin was a great host.

Charming Riverside Loft

Starting off by saying we have already booked our stay for camp pickup next year! The loft is right on the river and the kayaks were just right for paddling down to the city park swimming area for a dip in the afternoon and the morning. Also, we saw about 6 nests with fledgling heron/egret/crane - don't know enough about birds to know which they were - but it was neat to watch. The loft was well laid out, had board games, everything you'd need in the kitchen, and the bed was comfortable. Can't wait to come back next year!

Fantastic!! "Hostess with the Mostess"

As noted above, 5 star all around. The apartment was spacious, cheerful and CLEAN. Thoroughly stocked in every aspect, including a complimentary bottle of excellent TX wine and a can of Cutters on the porch. Great view of the river, river trail and park and the cypress trees full of color. As a retired Navy enlisted man/officer and my wife a 30 year retired teacher, we sincerely appreciated the American flag on porch. Super good location for things Kerrville and day trips outside Kerrville.

Charming riverside perch

We loved sitting on the deck in the morning watching the river and were close enough to downtown to walk to coffee, tacos and a swim. Immaculately clean and very charming.

Nice stay.

Really enjoyed staying here. Was close to everything and I was able to jump on my bike and ride the river trail. Apartment was very clean, cozy with very nice grounds along the river. Bed was very comfortable and sitting outside on the deck really nice. Certainly recommend this place.

Kerrville VRBO

This was perfect for our one night stay. There was an event in Kerrville that made staying at a hotel impossible. We cooked and watched college football, and enjoyed the view. All necessary items were provided. Perfect stay!!

Relaxing weekend getaway

The apartment was perfect. It was nicely furnished and included all the amenities. Robin did such a great job of including all the little things. We got caught in the rain one of the days and had to do dry some of our clothes in the dryer. We enjoyed the river and fished off the dock. We even got to meet the family staying in the main house and chatted about our travels. I would highly recommend staying here.

Such a sweet peaceful retreat

Such a great property, second time to stay here and it was just as pleasant as the first. So convenient for camp pick-up in Hunt! Mom and dad get a break before picking up campers! Fabulous place!!! Robin is a wicked fast communicator too! :-)

Kerrville gem

Loved the location, the great backyard, river and hiking trail access, kayaks and bikes. We rented the main house and the upstairs apartment for 9 days in June 2022 and loved it. Our second visit, and we will be back!

Amazing river front apartment

Robin’s place is amazing! Located right on the river, extremely clean, with cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Very quiet too. It looks even better in person, than in the pictures. Close to downtown, cool antique shops and restaurants. We will definitely want to come back!

Gorgeous property and views!! The loft apt. was a perfect place for a quiet getaway!!

We had the opportunity to meet the host (Robin) and her husband John. They really take pride is this property and make sure that their guests have all the amenities necessary for a wonderful getaway!! I will definitely recommend this place to others...5+ Stars!!!

My name is Robin and I was born and raised in Kerrville. My husband and I love this area so much that we returned here to semi-retire after living as missionaries overseas for the last 13 years. The Texas Hill Country is magical and we are just blessed to be able to enjoy this amazing property on the Guadalupe River!

This property was love at first sight! When our realtor showed us this home, I really never noticed anything in the house because I gravitated to the gorgeous Guadalupe Riverfront view out the back yard. It took a little effort to completely renovate but I think that you will agree that is was worth the wait.

Our family loves the outdoors and this is the perfect place to enjoy! Overlooking Tranquility Island and the Guadalupe River and River Trail, this home is a hidden gem! There are so many things to do outside and for those who need to just relax, there is a patio in the back to bbq, sip a coffee or sweet tea and enjoy nature!
