Close to restaurants, theater, park, river trail, Riverside Nature Center or just about anything in Kerrville since it's right downtown. You are also secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the park. We have fishing poles, bikes, indoor and outdoor games, lounge chairs and all the amenities you would expect from a parkside retreat.

In town seclusion

The property was exactly as advertised, right in the downtown area but with a remote feel. We had a nice, relaxing visit in a lovely home right on the river.

Lovely Home on the River

This was a lovely little home on the river with all the amenities one could ask for. Very well kept and I appreciated that all of the "extra" items available, such as bikes, kayaks, etc were in great condition and ready for use. We would definitely stay here again!

Kerrville January weekend

The property is absolutely wonderful, very clean, the view is spectacular, and so many places to relax indoors and out, and river toys to play with! It was also a perfect location. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Thank you so much for a throughly enjoyable time.

Gorgeous property - super clean and comfortable

Great location easy walking or biking (bikes provided) to trails, shopping, restaurants. Deep river front for swimming, floating and kayaking (provided). Nicely updated, very clean comfortable house with river toys games and everything you need, and with the ability to add to your party with the garage apartment. Great property!

Exceeded our expectations!

We’ve stayed in dozens of VRBO’s and this property was one of our favorites. Well stocked kitchen and home, supremely comfortable beds and bedding, perfect size, beautiful decor and colors and the home was VERY clean. We were so impressed (which is hard to do.) Thank you for a wonderful stay.

River Fun

We had a wonderful time on the property. The accommodations were great. There were bikes, tubes, and all items to float and have fun. I would absolute recommend this for a family vacation. There is a apartment to the right that shares the property but the couple was very nice.

Family Time

The house was just as described and had everything we needed and more! Great location in town - we walked to Mamacita's - and right on the river. We loved being able to hop in the kayaks and paddle in both directions and just float. The house was by far one of the cleanest rental properties we have ever had!! Definitely recommend this gem.

Best Girls Trip Ever

this home is beautiful inside and out! it feels like the owners have thought of everything down to have extras available if you forget something. this home has great gathering space for hanging out... down by the river, on the covered patio, around the dining room table. the owners were really sweet and easy to contact. it was such a relaxing weekend we are going to make this an annual trip at this home!

Amazing House & Location

House and backyard was in amazing condition with everything we needed. Very comfortable for 3 adults. River access steps away from the back patio was a huge plus. We were able to enjoy the outdoors and fish every night we were there and are happy to brag that we caught a lot of fish. BBQ pit on site was great. The Owner Robin was very helpful and checked on us to make sure we were taken care of. Property is very well maintained and could tell there is definitely pride in ownership. Stores and restraunts were only minutes away. Would definitely stay there again.

Spring time on the Guadalupe

Beautiful backyard! House is exactly as pictured. There is an apartment upstairs available for separate rent, which I don’t think I knew. It was not an issue for us - separate access and largely separate spaces. Just something to know- particularly if you’d want to rent both spaces.

Spring Break Retreat

Loved our short getaway here for Spring Break - had 2 14 y/o teen boys who especially loved going kayaking, bike riding & fishing. Safe, quiet town - grocery store down the road. Host stocked placed generously w/coffee and even a bottle of vino to greet us! We had nice BBQ, S’Mores.. kitchen fully equipped. We didn’t even want to leave much because we enjoyed staying in, hanging down by the river and fishing. Bed was super cozy and we felt at home. Loved the ducks who came to greet us. Such a wonderful stay and can’t wait to plan another trip back to this very same spot again!

Most Relaxing and Awesome Vacation Ever

We absolutely loved our stay at the River House! It was perfectly appointed and the location could not be beat for walkability, recreation opportunities, and rest and relaxation. The house was very clean with everything in working order and easy to use/find. The kitchen was well-appointed for cooking at home and the back patio and fishing dock were absolutely delightful to spend time on. There was a wonderful assortment of equipment (bikes, kayaks, fishing poles, board games) for use and our host was even kind enough to let us know about local events during our stay and leave us some great snacks for our arrival. We had everything we needed and then some and with the most amazing view of the Guadalupe and wildlife. The house itself was so comfortable for a day of relaxing, but was also the perfect home-base for our other Hill Country excursions to Schlitterbahn, LBJ Historic Site, and outdoor recreation. Our stay was so restful and energizing; we cannot wait to go back!

Vacation Retreat hidden in Kerrville

Property was conveniently located in the center of town hidden on a tributary river of the Guadalupe and you can see the Guadalupe from the porch also. We were in town for a golf tournament and it was cool and inviting. My friends and I sat on the porch each morning and enjoyed the cooler weather we had this last weekend. The King bed was great in my room. She said the Queen in the other was good, but she was not feeling well and said it was a little hard for her back. Other than that, it is a brightly lit, clean place and you have great shopping, eating and hiking and trails right out your doors. Schreiner Visit

Great place to stay for our short visit to Kerrville. Property was very clean and fully stocked. Back porch was perfect for our morning coffee overlooking the river. We will definitely book again next time in town!

Amazing place!

We spend Thanksgiving weekend with the family here, we cook Thanksgiving dinner and everything was perfect! Robin was very attentive and the attention to detail was just perfect! We had a wonderful time, and we will be back!

Beautiful accommodations

Nice view and relaxing environment

The house is in a very nice location with lots of equipments for water sports or games. Kitchen is very well equipped, too. Perfect place for family staycation/ weekend getaway.

Peaceful and Beautiful

The house was very comfortable and well equipped… the beds and bedding were really nice. Well stocked kitchen with spices and pans/dishes. Outside was a relaxing oasis!

This home is very spacious and super clean. It was extremely comfortable both the living room furniture and the beds..Lots of amenities...very large patio with gas and charcoal grills. Beautiful back yard with lots of greenery and color leading down to the river.

Perfect spot in Kerrville!

Great location right on the water and convenient to restaurants, etc. Property is always very clean and Robin is very helpful if you need her. We've stayed here twice before and will continue to stay here when we come back to Kernville!

Beautiful place with great river access

Rented because it was on the river and wanted to do some fishing from kayaks. Got try out my new fishing paddle board too. Caught several bass up and down the river. The bridge to the west was a hot spot. If you paddle to the East as far as you can go there’s a great swimming area! The yard is pretty and relaxing.

Serenity at the River

This property was the perfect location for my husband and I and our granddaughter to have a little Kerrville getaway before dropping her off at camp. The river view from the back porch was delightful, and the house provided all the amenities we needed.

My name is Robin and I was born and raised in Kerrville. My husband and I love this area so much that we returned here to semi-retire after living as missionaries overseas for the last 13 years. The Texas Hill Country is magical and we are just blessed to be able to enjoy this amazing property on the Guadalupe River!

This property was love at first sight! When our realtor showed us this home, I really never noticed anything in the house because I gravitated to the gorgeous Guadalupe Riverfront view out the back yard. It took a little effort to completely renovate but I think that you will agree that is was worth the wait.

Our family loves the outdoors and this is the perfect place to enjoy! Overlooking Tranquility Island and the Guadalupe River and River Trail, this home is a hidden gem! There are so many things to do outside and for those who need to just relax, there is a patio in the back to bbq, sip a coffee or sweet tea and enjoy nature!
