Come enjoy your next family vacation on Bay Lake! Only two hours from the Twin Cities, Bay Lake is known for it's clear waters, perfect for swimming and boating, and great fishing. Bring your own boat or rent one locally, and keep it at our dock. Enjoy the wood stove or the fire pit by the shore, and the big yard for all kinds of games.

Our cabin is set up for comfort and extended families. There are three bedrooms, two full baths and lots of options for sleeping arrangements. The master has a queen and twin, BR2 has a full, a twin, and a trundle, BR3 has a full and twin, and the TV room has a full futon. In addition there is a pull out sofa in the living room, and the kids will love piling into the Kid's Cubbie, which can hold two teenagers or twice that many rugrats!

The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs and the dining room table seats 10 with three more seats at the kitchen peninsula. Two card tables with chairs are also available.

There is a TV with a selection of movies or streaming to entertain the kids on those rare rainy days. We do not have cable TV - we hope you'll be too busy enjoying the lake! We do have internet available.

Dogs are welcome, maximum of 2. Per our insurance company, we cannot accept the following breeds (or mixed breeds including them): Akita, American Staffordshire, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Wolf hybrid or any dog with a bite history. If you are bringing dogs please indicate the breed in your reservation request.

Perfect Cabin by Bay Lake

After dropping our 2 older boys off at hockey camp we arrived at the cabin. It was in a stunning location right on the lake. The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. We spent our days swimming off the jetty, fishing, biking and ended evrey day making smores by the fire. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dog along too. The cabin was a perfect set up, clean and tidy but we were still able to relax and let the dog in and out of the cabin without worrying that we would ruin the place. Communication with the owners was easy and they were quick to respond. Next time we will book a boat for a few days and explore more of Bay Lake.

Great location and amenities were exceptional especially as we traveled in from out of state

Brought my parents who are in their 80s and grandchildren 3&6. The lot worked well for all with the flat walk out to the lake. Fishing off the dock was the highlight for my 6 year old grandson. Catch several sunnies and a couple were keepers.

Nice stay

property was as listed. They had everything we needed for our trip. However, we ran into some unexpected issue on 2nd day when contractors came and removed the dock while we all were out fishing. Looks like owner had miscommunication regarding the timing of dock removal. we did manage to temporarily dock at neighbor's dock to get everyone off-board, however we had to return the boat to marina overnight, which was a little hassel. other than that, it was a perfect stay. we would stay here again.

Lake week

We had a great time, cabin was as expected and had all the amenities you Could want. Property was big and private and the dock was perfect for boat or just hanging out.

Fantastic Getaway!

This was the second time we have rented this house on beautiful Bay Lake. The owners are wonderful, responsive to communication, check in and check out easy and the house is labeled throughout for easy access to everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will recommend to others and not hesitate to stay there again.

Fabulous Property

Absolutely wonderful.... from the swimming beach, on the property, to the skiing, tubing to the bonfires. There was nothing we needed, the kitchen had everything we forgot. Will definitely come back.. I didn’t even miss the air conditioning in the evening, everyone sleept like babies 👶.

Great Week

This was my 1st Time renting on line and it was great, very nice rustic cabin. We had 9 adults 2 - 2 yr olds and one baby. No complaints from anyone.. couldn’t ask for a better time on a vacation. Fishing for sunfish was awesome 30 yards from dock., some were too big to put hand around The grill could use an update Hard to regulate even on low

Perfect Getaway

This is an immaculately clean, organized and convenient location on Bay Lake. The listing is exactly as represented. Communication ahead of time, check in and information of what to do upon check out was very clear and easy. We really enjoyed ourselves and would not hesitate to stay here again. Great well stocked cabin!

Cabin was clean and well stocked with everything from kitchen utensils and pots and pans, to extra bedding, life jackets, a grill, firewood and bean bag toss game. One downside was that the sleeping arrangements were a little awkward because 3 of the bedrooms sleep 3, which is fine for families with younger kids but with all adults is kinda weird. The 4th bedroom is essentially a laundry room with a futon in it. The hidden “fort” in the living room wall was a cool bonus room that my 16 & 19 year olds loved even at their ages! We were thankful for the cooler weather we had because there’s no A/C and we were very comfortable without it. The owner provided the BEST instructions regarding everything from check in and parking to where to find things and basically anticipated every need you might have and told you where you could get it. AMAZING communication. This was a very relaxing stay and was all about the fun memories being made and NOT about the rules like some places are. They even let us have a very late checkout which essentially gave us another day! That was a much appreciated perk!

Bay Lake Retreat

Bay Lake is a beautiful clean lake, big enough to not get bored, small enough to easily get around. The fishing wasn't great but the sand bar was perfect for the little kids and the dog. The house is large, clean and airy. Lots of wood every where. We slept well with the windows open and the breeze coming in off the lake. Really nice that we could bring our dog along. I got her a life jacket so she could swim with with us and she quickly figured out that she could just float around and didn't need to be paddling around all the time! We made good use of the gas grill. The shed was full of fun lake toys. We didn't use the fire pit just because we were pretty tired at the end of the day and it was plenty hot out without a fire. Tons of good dry firewood for inside and out.
