We had a wonderful stay at The Cape. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to the hot tub, washer and dryer. The beachfront view was absolutely stunning, and we loved spending time out on the dock. Cheryl was quick to respond to every question and gave us great local suggestions for fish and chips and crab cakes. Check-in and check-out were easy. Highly recommend, and we'd happily stay again!

Our wonderful stay in Prospect Bay

Four of us came in from Ontario to attend a Conference in Halifax. The property we stayed in at Prospect Bay was wonderful and fit our needs perfectly. The host Cheryl was great to deal with and I would certainly recommend this VRBO to anyone visiting the area.

The hot tub was clean and had a great view. The ocean was gorgeous and could be seen from almost all rooms in the house. There was an upper and lower deck both with great views. The place was very comfortably set up, with a great kitchen, and the hosts were great and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here :)

Excellent Property

Great quiet location! The house was super clean and fully stocked. I really liked the bedroom on the main floor for my aunt who is a bit older. The sunsets are beautiful and communication was easy. We had a wonderful stay.

Lovely Stay

Cute, cozy cottage with gorgeous surroundings. Exceptionally clean. Hot tub was great, just wish we had more time to enjoy everything this place has to offer.

Bay cottage south of Halifax

Beautiful cottage on the bay and convenient to all the places we wanted to visit and explore. Adding a hairdryer to one of the bathrooms would top it off!

Cheryl and Michael were incredible hosts with great communication and a house book that covered all the bases. The house was lovely: incredible location and really nice inside. It was a great base for day trips (we did Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg). I highly recommend. It was nice to have access to the private beach/dock and the kayaks and paddle board.

Spacious home with spectacular views

The property is gorgeous and boasts ocean views. At night, the stars are incredible from the wharf. The hot tub is under the deck and sheltered from the rain. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Wonderful stay in Prospect Bay Cottage home

We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely waterfront cottage home. It was as pictured, very clean, lovely bedding, gorgeous location and much enjoyed views and hot tub. Mike and Cheryl went above and beyond checking in with us, ensuring all was well and communicating. Lovely experience.

The home was clean and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The property has a hot tub which we took advantage of. In addition a firepit by the water. The views are amazing all day long. Our favorite times on the was early morning and late evening. Very surreal. We visited Peggy's Cove and Lunenberg while we stayed for a short two days.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful visit...so peaceful and quiet, which is what we were hoping for. The cottage is well equipped and has some great amenities such as kayaks, a fire pit and hot tub. We enjoyed it all! Host Cheryl was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your home with our family.
