Welcome to our cottage by the ocean. Don't just imagine sitting on the deck with a chilled glass of wine while the sun goes down, experience it! Relax at the end of your day by dining al fresco. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves and the smell of the ocean.
Situated on Middle Point Cove, five minutes from world-famous Peggy's Cove, our one-level cottage includes a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry, bath with walk-in shower, Wi-Fi, and queen beds in each of two bedrooms (sheets and towels provided). A great location for a your stay.

Good proximity and view of the water (beautiful sunsets!); clean, cozy, well decorated, everything you need; proximity to bathroom from bedrooms not great (bath mat in shower to prevent slips); matress and pillows could be refreshed; host was wonderful.

Thank you for your review. I must say I am a bit disappointed that you only gave us four stars. With regard to the pillows, I’m not sure what you mean by refresh. There are nine pillows in the cottage to choose from in varying thicknesses. With regard to the shower, the base itself is a non-skid surface. We actually do provide a rubber bathmat intended for use in the bottom, and it is located in the linen closet with the towels. As to the location of the bathroom itself, unfortunately, we did not build the cottage, so there was nothing we could do about that.

We had a great stay in Peggy’s Cove. We walked into a clean place and the best part the beds were comfortable after a long travel day. We were very pleased with the information book as it was very detailed and provided great information.

It was a pleasure to stay at this vacation rental. Comfortable, clean, and cozy with a beautiful view, we look forward to future visits at this lovely place. Deb was available for any questions and we appreciated the thoughtful details and additions throughout the cottage and deck.

Beautiful property in a perfect location for both touring Halifax and the south shore! A perfect amount of space for four people with a well stocked kitchen and a large living space. The best was the view of the ocean and the wonderful ocean breeze! Debora was also easy and positive to communicate with. Overall we would return here in a heartbeat!

We were delighted with our stay. The accommodation is cozy with a bit of a rustic vibe which is very fitting for the area. Everything was spotless and our host quickly responded to requests as they arose. The location and views are simply amazing. We had an amazing time at this location.

Great location! This home is clean and comfy- Deb is a wonderful host and we settled in with plenty of time to enjoy a gorgeous sunset. The cottage is thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. And it is a perfect location for day trips along the South Shore.

A Hidden Gem in Peggy’s Cove

A perfect spot. Great location. They thought of everything. The beds were comfortable and the ocean side porch was wonderful. We had a wonderful time.

Indian Harbor and Nova Scotia

Our stay at Deb and Rico’s property was everything we hoped for and more. The house was lovely, clean and comfortable and the location was perfect as a base to explore Nova Scotia. I would stay here again without hesitation!

I grew up in Indian Harbour, only a stone's throw from this cottage. It is a beautiful place, even in the worst of weather! Being near the ocean brings a sense of peace to my busy world. I hope it does the same for you.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

The cottage originally belonged to my brother, who was a fisherman. He passed away in 2015 and bequeathed his home to me. In order to be able to keep it, my husband and I made the decision to renovate it completely (no more bachelor pad) and add it to the rental market. Eventually, we will sell our home and retire to this one, where we can enjoy all the natural surroundings!
