What a fabulous house. Loved that it was so close to the old town. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. The house has lots of room to relax inside and out. Very well equipped kitchen and bedrooms comfortable. We wished we had stayed longer. One of the best places I’ve stayed.

Emma’s Cottage was a very nice apartment to stay just outside the old walled city. It was clean and full of character, with a nice outdoor patio.The host was very helpful and kind. He answered questions quickly and always offered to help.I highly recommend this property in Dubrovnik!

The property was excellent for our multi generation family vacation. The patio overlooking the old city walls was beautiful. Very comfortable inside with lots of room for everyone. We spent many evenings in the outdoor space enjoying the view. The host, Darko, made the check in experience very easy and provided many recommendations for places to visit. We would recommend this property and hope to visit again! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Darko‘s beautiful home. He was extremely responsive to all of our requests. He spent time educating us on the surrounding areas upon our arrival. This is nearly a 500 year-old property and it is gorgeous. It’s nicely located next-door to bakeries, pizzerias, and takeout restaurants. The sky tram is directly across the street. It’s an easy walk into Old town. I hope you enjoy your stay here as much as we did.

We have stayed at many Vrbo, but Darko was the most attentive host we have ever had. The location is idea, easy walk with few stairs to walled city. The view from the terrace was hard to leave. The apartment was old world perfect with all amenities, sleeping for 7. Darko gave us great advice about where to eat, where to go and what to see. Great place.

Location was so excellent, generous host who was very knowledgable about tourist attractions. Well equipped residence. Comfortable beds, great residence with a washing machine. Lovely terrace. We loved Emma’s cottage! The location could not be beat! Darko, the host, met us at check-in and went out of his way to help us have a wonderful time in Dubrovnik with personal recommendations for restaurants, sites, and even the right ATMs to use! He also helped us arrange transportation to and from his property. The property is well equipped for small groups w 3 bathrooms and 5 beds. The highlight for us (4 women traveling together) was the lovely outside deck area. We whole heartedly recommend Emma’s Cottage in Dubrovnik!

Nancy and her group of four ladies were excellent guests who were very respectful of the house rules and left the place spotlessly clean and tidy. But above all, they are very nice people who were great to meet occasionaly and talk to!

Wonderful location and home very close to the city walls. The home was perfect for us (6 adults, ranging from late 50s to mid 20s). There not a lot of steps if you follow darko’s recommended path back). It was close to the beach and very close to the town. There are good bakeries nearby for pastries or croissants in the morning. The cable car is also very close and worth doing at least one time. We did several tours we booked on line and they were all able to pick us up at the cable car stop, which was very convenient. Darko is a wonderful host and happy to help with anything you need.

Perfect location, beautiful terrace

Our group wished we had more time to stay in this beautiful home with so much history! The location is so convenient to the Old City, transportation, and shops, and the large terrace was fantastic!

Great place to stay, can see city walls from front porch. Walking distance to two entrances to the city. Host was very nice and offered recommendations on places to eat and how to get around the city.

Wonderful stay !! 100% recommend

Traditional villa with all the home comforts and in a fantastic location (5 min walk to old town, 2 min to cable car). Darko is an excellent host, sharing lots of useful information and great restaurant recommendations. We definitely recommend!!

Although our visit was short, we had a great time. House was great for our family of 6. Location just steps away from the city wall was perfect. Darko was also very helpful in all aspects including helping us find parking. Would definitely come back again.

Wonderful Experience!

The property was spacious and clean. The patio was beyond awesome for extra space and views. Beds comfortable and the house well stocked. Our host was responsive and attentive! Really enjoyed our stay.

A nice place in a terrific spot, Steps away from Old Town

We always pick authentic, architecturally unique and centrally located places when we travel. Darko's place donahoe away from the North Gate and 3 minutes from the Ploce Gate did not disappoint. We found the place charming, well appointed and Darko a wonderful host.

Perfect Location

Close enough to walk to Old Town (gate was within sight ) Yet far enough up to have fabulous views. Darko was very easy to work with.

Great Home for Small Group

Darko’s home was perfect for our group of 3 couples. It was a short walk to Old Town & wonderful bakeries for breakfast treats! Darko gave a great overview of the house & provided wonderful recommendations for dinner & day trips out of the city. The house was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our week in Dubrovnik. I highly recommend his home!!

A lovely place

This property is extremely clean and welcoming. Access to the old city is easy. The cable car is only 20 meters away. Darko is the consummate host who took care of all our needs. A very good experience for all of us.

Wonderful stay in beautiful Dubrovnik

The villa is perfectly located for a short stay in Dubrovnik; easy walking distance to the old town, cable car, supermarket and bakeries. The villa is large with plenty of space for a group of 4 friends like us. Everything you could need is provided; the kitchen is very well eqipped. Darko is very welcoming and gave great recommendatons for things to see, directions and restaurants. We were very grateful for the airport transfer and the restaurant that he booked for us. I would highly recommend staying here.

What better could I expect at the end of the season and before closing the house than to host such great guests as Karen and her friends were. The ladies were perfect, fabulous guests in any sense! I highly recommend Karen as a guest to all future hosts!
