This home was amazing. The location to the beach was so close. The downstairs area was incredible. All bedrooms had their private baths. The kitchen was stocked everything you would need. Will definitely be returning next year

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home great for a big family vacation, very close to the beach walking distance, very clean and spacious, loved it! the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is on the location, because you have to drive to practically for everything needed.

Lovely house, just a short walk from the beach. The ocean views from the house are stunning. The house has everything you need with a very well stocked kitchen. Lanai is great for relaxing. Beds very comfortable. Decor is nice. Great stock of beach equipment to use. 20 minute walk to the beautiful Tunnels Beach and a 5-10 minute walk to Gaia Restaurant and its attached coffee shop. Only small quibble is that the master bath doesn’t really close off from the master bedroom and it’s a tad dated (other bathrooms look updated) but otherwise an unforgettable stay!

Great location with easy access to amazing beaches on foot. Short drive to fantastic hiking. House clean and tidy and very welcoming. Excellent stay.

This home has one of the best stocked kitchens of any home we have stayed at,( which was appreciated with our family of 7). The photos accurately display its beauty. Loved having two close walkways to the beach. So glad we chose Hale Hina!

The home was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. Quick walk to the ocean, coffee shop within walking distance, close to all of the north shore sites and shops. Host was easy to work with and the home was sparkling clean with anything we needed for a beach day or a rainy day in. Kids loved the downstairs swing and ping pong table. We would definitely stay here again and hope to be back soon!

We all had a wonderful stay at Hale Hina. Top notch home, well stocked, beautiful. Everything from start to finish went perfectly. Would highly recommend staying here.

AMAZING place! We had such a great time at the local beaches (close to Tunnels beach), playing games downstairs of the house, and relaxing in the AC when tired. House is clean, modern with Hawaiian touches, has a beautiful tropical yard with gorgeous ocean views, and had everything we needed! Perfect vacation!

Wonderful house and location

Beautiful home with great ocean views from the lanai and a very short walk to a quiet, picturesque beach. Kitchen is very well stocked for at-home cooking. The Makana hosts are very responsive to any questions or needs that come up before or during the stay. Our family hopes we can return to visit again!

A wonderful property

We loved this property! Easy walk to the beach and the house was in great shape! We used the kitchen and never lacked for any appliance or utensil. We would definitely stay here again. Please note that the Master bathroom is huge but has no door, only curtains.

A week in paradise!

This rental was an absolute dream! Beautifully decorated, spacious and fully appointed with everything needed for a beach vacation. Access to the beach and views from the deck were fabulous! The management was responsive and pleasant. The neighborhood was private and quiet! We loved the downstairs area to lounge, grill and hang out!

Us & both sets of parents really enjoyed our stay. It was the location we wanted up North & with easy beach access. The property has the all the needed scuba & beach gear available, ping pong table, grill etc to just settle in, relax and enjoy yourselves. Our seniors had no issue with the stairs or quick walk to the water.The minor-est of nitpicks would be labeling remotes & light switches, replacing the knobs on the stove which aren't legible.We would all come back and stay here again in a heartbeat.

Holiday week with family

Our family (including 4 in their early 20s) spent a week enjoying the beautiful home and nearby beaches. We loved that each bedroom had its own private bath. The kitchen was well-appointed and we cooked a number of meals together. The proximity to Hanalei, Tunnels Beach and the Na Pali coast trail provided everyone with great options. And we were lucky to have really great weather. Will definitely be back!
