Panoramic Ocean View, less than 2 minute walk to beach - with hot tub

Roy, So glad you enjoyed your stay at our home away from home in PDX. I personally love our location at the end of a quiet dead lane. Quiet with easy access to the beach. Winter time is also fun watching the ocean when it gets angry and has waves crashing into the offshore Castle Rock. We have seen waves crashing against and over that 163 foot high Castle Rock. BTW our rental rates during the winter are a great deal for our guests.

Esther, We also enjoy sitting at the kitchen island and just watching the waves. Winter storms are fun to watch as well as the waves crash against and sometimes over the 163 ft off shore rock. We offer attractive rates during the winter season if you are ever interested. Regards Ann and Bob

Jackie, Ann and I are pleased that you found the house so spacious and well equipped and found the path only a short distance to the beach. Regarding your comment on maintenance to the two rail stiles that you found loose, thank you for bringing that to our attention. As you know we have 3 decks on the upper level of our house and there are probably 200 stiles to inspect. So we appreciate you elevating that there were 2 stiles that were loose. We will address them promptly. Regarding the path to the beach, it is not on our property and are not responsible for its maintenance. For years we have taken it on ourselves to cut back the overgrowth, but now I am approaching 80 yrs old and it now time for our neighbors who also use the path to step up and help keep the path more open.
