Pet Friendly Cottage

As the owner I do most all of the cleaning myself with the highest standards. Our top priority is our guests health & well being. Come and enjoy this very quiet country cottage located on a dead end street. It is set on an acre so you feel a little country atmosphere but it is still located close to town. This cottage is equipped with all of the things you need to make you feel right at home.
The back yard is large & nicely fenced for pets & children. There is a fire pit including plenty of firewood & two BBQ's, one gas
& one Weber.
There is plenty of off street parking as well.
I do like guests to know
that there is only one bathroom in the cottage and it is located in one of the bedrooms.

With Montana De Oro State Park just a few minutes away makes for a great place to come and enjoy all of your favorite outdoor activities. The park is filled with many great hiking trails to explore as well as mountain biking trails. It is also a nice place to take a walk down to the beach & discover the tide pools and maybe even a picnic. Montana De Oro is a perfect place for just relaxing and enjoying a beautiful environment.


Morro Bay and Cayucos are just a few minutes away where you will find great fresh fish markets, restaurants & shopping.
If you enjoy surfing Morro Bay and Cayucos have some great spots such as the Morro Rock. Cayucos also has a wonderful off leash dog beach that goes for miles.

The central coast is well known for some of the best wineries in California. The wineries start in Paso Robles and run all the way down to Santa Barbara County. So take some time to stop & do some tasting along the way.
If you enjoy taking a beautiful afternoon drive you can head North up Hwy 1 to see the elephant seals or tour the remarkable Hearst Castle in San Simeon .

There is something here for everyone so come and enjoy.

Very nice small cottage. Nicely appointed smart TV so you can sling programs off your phone.Small kitchen but has everything you need. Very dog friendly with a fenced yard. Will definitely be back.

We wished we could have stayed longer than just the one night. We liked the location, which was close to the little village stores and restaurants. The cottage was just perfect for 3 people. We didn't use the kitchen very much or the outdoor amenities due to our schedule, but it looked very workable. It was quiet and all the host's instructions were very clear. There was easy parking and unloading. We'll be back soon, I hope, for a longer stay.

Cute little cottage in a great location for us to attend graduation at SLO and see Morro Bay. Perfect for a family of 4. Backyard was lovely and we roasted marshmallows in the fire pit.

Beautiful and serene place. We loved our time here. We value peace, nature and quietude, and we could feel that ethos as soon as we stepped inside the privacy gate into the large fenced-in garden patio. We sat out there at night to enjoy the stars. Inside the cottage, it is even more beautiful than the photos. Beds are restful and with soft and high-end bedding. The host obviously puts a lot of care into the cottage and her guests. The colors and decor are soothing. Kitchen has everything we needed. She was very helpful with our questions. We walked to the nature reserve and also did our road cycling. We are horse lovers so being near the horses was an extra joy! We look forward to coming back. It was a privilege to stay at such a peaceful and well-cared-for place.

Perfect spot for 4th of July weekend. Our older dog can't handle the noise of our neighborhood, and it was absolutely quiet in Los Osos. She also can't handle hot weather, and the weather was perfect for her. The yard was great for both dogs, the beds were comfortable and we were able to figure out how to work the TV so we could watch the World Cup matches. Location is handy to Morro Bay/ Cayucos/ San Luis Obispo/ Avila Beach.

My wife & I were traveling with our doodle on the central coast of CA. We had a wonderful stay at this cute 2 bedroom cottage in Los Osos. The cottage had everything we needed. The property was close to town & in a quiet neighborhood. It even had a nice Astro turf yard in the back yard for our dog to play on. We will definitely come back to this charming cottage when we are in the area.

The home was so comfortable, the details and thoughtful touches, the decor and furnishings were just right. It’s on a quiet street with a beautiful view for sunset over the field. The kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend and the town of Los Osos is a gem

This cottage was beyond adorable, very well stocked (can’t thank you more for all the cooking spices, tin foil, Saran Wrap, and ziplock bags), and your backyard is beautiful! Great for our cockapoo. We hope to stay again soon!!!

Great little house. This is our 2nd time staying here. We didn't get to utilize the outdoor space like we did before b/c it was pretty cold outside this trip. Comfortable beds and very quiet. Decent price for a last minute stay. Highly recommended.

My husband Greg grew up in SLO and graduated from San Luis Obispo High School. I attended both Cuesta & Cal Poly, that's how we met. I lived in the cottage for 10 years & Greg for two years before we bought the property in 2002.
We purchased the property from an unbelievable woman named Louise Holmes who use to own the local bar “The Merry Maker” located here in Baywood. We were very lucky to have had the opportunity to acquire the acre & I think we have made it a special place to spend time.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

The cottage is very a comfortable place & we love to share it. It is very peaceful & gives you a sense of feeling at home. The ocean is a short drive & so is San Luis Obispo the best of both worlds. When you park your car you can see how close you really are to the ocean & can hear the waves & the fog horns at night. It is also located on a dead end street so there is limited traffic.

Pets are welcome here and the backyard was designed to make it comfortable for them as well. The large fence yard is perfectly safe and the back door to the kitchen opens up onto the patio.
