Located it heavenly and largely undiscovered Baywood Park. Surrounded by natural wonder. Morro Bay and estuary. State parks. Walk to dinner, breakfast, kayak, nap in the garden. Designed and decorated with attention to detail, comfort, and esthetics. A real getaway. New king size bed, now with cool-tempur like foam pad and a full size fold out futon, gas stove heater, capable kitchen, claw foot tub and shower. Relax on the outdoor chaise lounges and watch the birds flit in and out of the garden. Stroll down to the bay, 1/2 a block away on one side. Discover what we found 10 years ago. A treasure on the central coast.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely little cottage, which was comfortable and well appointed. The location could not be better, it was a short walk to shops, bay, and weekly farmer's market. Looking forward to our next stay!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The garden patio with its tables, chairs and sun umbrella provided a very relaxing place to unwind.

This cottage felt secluded and private, the neighborhood was very quiet. Everything was clean. We walked to multiple destinations from it. The host made check in and out very easy. The king bed was comfortable. We would stay here again!

Although it was a little strange having to go behind someone's home to get to the cottage our stay was quiet and relaxing. It is completely secluded and enjoyed the sound from the backyard chickens. Felt a little bad the morning we left though because we had to leave at 2:30 in the morning so my husband could make it to a fishing trip in Ventura at 6:30. Hope we didn't make too much noise.

The beach cottage was so cute and comfy! We had plenty of blankets and pillows. The Mountain View from inside the cottage was great! We sat outside on the lounges drinking wine and relaxing! The small little kitchen had everything we needed. We loved all the cute decor and charm. Although you’re essentially in the far backyard of the main house you would never know it! We loved it! Ps super clean!!

The cottage is very charming and the private garden just beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped and offers everything you need. The host is very responsive and really takes care of the property. We have been there twice and will be back!

Great place to stay

This was a nice place, with a great patio/garden. My wife and I stayed and there was plenty of room for us. Great location near SLO and a short walk to the shops and cafes in Los Osos.

We enjoyed staying in this area with its easy access to Baywood Park's little downtown. Park the car and walk to dinner. Stop at one of the numerous little libraries and pickup something to read. The cottage is tucked behind a home. It's small but adequate for up to 3 and easily accommodates indoor/outdoor. Don't bring a lot of luggage! We ate meals and enjoyed beverages in the garden. The owner's chickens make delightful background sounds and it is charming and peaceful. The kitchen is a bit makeshift but more than adequate for a simple meal. 2 small issues. The mini fridge/freezer isn't great for medications that require refrigeration. Put them in the bottom wrapped in paper towels. I also recommend owners add a step stool for us short folks as glassware on top shelf was needed and very hard for us to reach. I would definitely stay here again.

The space was perfect for 2 people. The space felt warm and inviting. The outdoor space was nice to have a quiet dinner. The neighborhood was quiet and within a 5 min walk were restaurants and a quiet pier to watch the sunset and wildlife.

Lovely place to stay in Baywood. Easy walk to the bay and village of Baywood. Monday Farmers market was fantastic.Montana de Oro was beautiful! We loved walking in the Elfin Forest. Great place to stay and enjoy the easy serenity of Los Osos coast.

Property was exactly as posted and located in a great little community close to a great restaurant, perfect for a short stay for my family. Owner was incredibly helpful and quick to communicate!

Wonderful getaway spot

We stay at this wonderful cottage as often as we can when we visit the Central Coast. It is peaceful, fully equipped, centrally located for activities up and down the coast. We have always appreciated the communications with owner as well. We have recommended this cottage to family and friends. Anxious to return!

Brian and Leslie fell in love with Baywood Park 11 years ago, when they happened upon this wonderful hidden gem. Nestled on a little peninsula jutting out into the tidal estuary at the south end of Morro Bay. Surrounded by state parks and with the sound of waves crashing in the distance, this has been our most cherished refuge and source of peace. We are so glad we can share a bit of this special place with our guests.
