Well-appointed three bedroom two bath home backing onto Wildlife Ridge Park; a part wilderness area and great for escaping the day! We have wonderful birdsong to greet every morning, lovely trails to walk, shops within a 20 minute walk, bike friendly roads, and the Catalina mountain views to feast upon.
Fully furnished. You only need your personal belongings and food items.

Very nice and comfortable property with a great kitchen for meal preparation. The area was very safe and has beautiful mountain views. Lots of walking trails, golf courses and biking lanes and a very clean, well kept subdivision.

Great stay

Very clean! Comfortable rooms. Well stocked kitchen. Easy check in. The owner checked to make sure we didn't need anything. Very nice place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful location, quiet and plenty of activities such as walking. hiking etc. Loved the back yard, quiet and we enjoyed early morning coffee on the patio and evenings of a family enjoying and reminiscing. Plenty of restaurants, grocery and all near by.

A Perfect Spot

Lovely, spacious home. We spent many hours sitting on the covered patio that faces a park. Close to shopping and hiking trails. Owner was very responsive to any issues that arose. Our month flew by too fast.

A great place to relax and recharge

NIce property, attentive landlady, pleasant neighborhood and great location = one mighty fine stay. Once the weather cooperated we really enjoyed the serenity of the patio and the nature preserve that border the back of the yard. The interior was pleasantly decorated, well kept and comfortable, and our host made certain that all systems functioned well, leaving us with no worries. Thanks, Heather!

January and February, 2022 Stay

This house was exceptional - very clean and well taken care of. Everything we needed was provided. The patio in the back is wonderful - such a great place to relax. Heather went above and beyond looking out for us. She took the time to communicate when necessary and was friendly and helpful. We would give this stay a 10 out of 10.

Lovely Quiet Home in Oro Valley

Our stay was simply wonderful! A clean and comfortable home to relax after a full day of exploring the Tucson area. Morning coffee on the peaceful backyard patio listening to the bird song and lovely evenings watching beautiful sunsets. Our host Heather was always available via phone, email or text and always responded immediately to any questions we had. She is an excellent communicator as well as being very friendly and attentive to her quests! If we had not found and purchased our own home while we were visiting, we would --without hesitation--- book The Quails for the next season! We would highly recommend The Quails to anyone wanting to stay in Beautiful Oro Valley! Diane and Andy

First Time To Tucson

My wife and I stayed at Heather & Rick's house from mid-March to mid-April, 2022 and totally enjoyed it. Heather is a pleasure to work with and replied to any question or need usually within minutes of me sending her a text. The place was clean, fully stocked and in a very safe neighborhood. My wife even made friends with some of the neighbors during her morning walks. We enjoyed the location as it was right in the area we used the most. Absolutely perfect experience in every way and we'd definitely stay again and highly recommend it to future travelers. We even got to park our Honda van in the garage! This house has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could ever need and the TV/entertainment options were excellent with DirecTV and Roku included. Book with confidence and enjoy your stay!

Came to run the trails

Perfect location for access to a variety of trails. Grocery store very close. Aquatic center close as well. Very nice private backyard.

Would Rent Again!!!!

This property worked out so well for the four of us. Great location! House was well stocked with amenities. Heather was very attentive to our needs! Excellent customer service!!!!

Having spent over 40 years in Africa where I was born and raised I have a unique outlook on life. I love outdoor life, cooking, entertaining, exploring and generally, making people happy.
After being widowed I emigrated to the USA in 2008, and married my husband Rick in 2010. Rick is native to Washington and went to Seattle Pacific College. He is retired from teaching and the USAF. He is passionate about classic cars and has a 1942 Packard, so hence car auctions and shows are part of our lifestyle.
We both love to travel and between us, we have visited and lived in numerous countries. I have two amazing daughters, one in Texas and one in Sydney Australia. Rick has two sons and a daughter all in the USA. We hope to be future snowbirds and want to share our home with other travelers from far and near.
5 things we can't live without - Good food, adventure, music, good health, mutual love and respect.
Our style of traveling is normally as our whim takes us. We fly, drive or pack a tent. Good resorts, B & B's, sailing, cruising, staying with friends and family are all probabilities. I love islands, beaches and the African bush. Castles, historical buildings and architecture, concerts in London, picnics in the forests of Washington, drives in the desert of Arizona, street markets, exotic foods, and museums are all part of what we enjoy.

We would like our guests to enjoy our homes, whether it is in Washington or Oro Valley. Our homes will have house rules and operational guidelines as each home has its own little quirks. We hope you will abide by these and take the time to explore the area, but mostly to have fun and make good memories!
