Walking distance to the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market, this Railyard District two-story home features a master suite with private bathroom on the ground floor and upstairs- a comfortable living room, two bedrooms featuring well-appointed double-sized beds, ample closet space, one bathroom with shower/tub, hairdryer, and washer and dryer. The fully-furnished kitchen includes: fridge, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. USB chargers in all bedrooms and free Wi-Fi.

Please note, this is a two-story property with the main living area up stairs. This unit is attached to the main house. It does have a private entrance and designated parking. Use your Netflix or Hulu account to watch your favorite shows.

Perfect Santa Fe Get Away

Close to the Plaza, walking path and quick access to major cross streets. Allowed us to have a very relaxing time discovering Santa Fe and surrounding areas! Would stay again. Property was clean, organized, well provisioned and thoughtfully decorated.

Great property, great location!

We really enjoyed the house. It had everything we needed....appreciated all the details of having plemty of soap, trash bags, tissues, earplugs, etc. We were only a few minutes away from anything we wanted to do in Santa Fe and could even walk to the Railyard District.

Perfect Place, Great Location

This was an amazing house. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds and furniture we so comfortable! Plenty of games to play. The location was perfect for our plans and a quiet neighborhood. The host responded quickly to messages. Would absolutely recommend this host and house!

Perfect

Casa de Mena met all our needs and more. The location was great, close to everything in town and the neighborhood felt safe. The house has all the conveniences and more that you would need for a short of long stay. The house is very nicely appointed and has plenty of space and the beds and linens were very comfy. The host provided lots of nice amenities and a nice welcome snack bag! We would have loved to stay longer!

Nice home, great location

The property was very clean and the host had a small goodie bag waiting. It was well stocked and very close to everything. I would recommend to anyone looking in Santa Fe.

This was a great place close to downtown. There was a book with recommendations of restaurants and other helpful information. It was also well stocked with miscellaneous items you might need. You can tell a lot of thought went into this rental!

Break-in

The home is located in a congested residential block, about 4 minutes away from most attractions. Santa Fe is brimming with artists, and turns out one of the most unsafe cities in the country. Its 'crime grade' is 9%, making 91% of cities in the USA safer than this one. Honestly, we had a good stay, until we had an attempted break-in with no callbacks from the property management or (next-door) owner until a good half hour after we called. It may have been longer than that, because after we tried calling the property management and owner multiple times and getting no answer, as well as a message recording from the owner to "don't leave a message because I won't return your call" we had to call the police. Luckily the police responded quickly, were at the property for a good 20 - 30 minutes while they waited for the paramedics. The person trying to break in was slamming his fists on the door so hard that he bled all over the door, and after finishing our trip on this note the managment called us and told us that was had to stay awake and wait for the owner to come talk to us. It was 12:30 AM, way too late to have to wait around for another stranger to come to our door and relive the discomfort of our experience. All of it was traumatizing and a total bummer, but nothing was worse than the owner's nonchalant and indifferent response when we explained what had happened. It was as if he didn't believe us, and when we suggested that he put another type of lock on the front door, he explained that the lock was safe enough. We were shooken up, jit would have been so easy to simply agreed with us to make us feel heard. Super disappointed response and inconvenience. There has been zero effort or offer from the owner or VRBO for any reparations. I filed a report with VRBO the night of with images and had not heard back for 3 days. Honestly, this expericence makes me think we should have stayed in a hotel for the same price, at least there would have been some type of security. The owner said that he was just next door and we could come ask for help, unfortunately, the door to our residence was being blocked by someone trying to break in, so we couldn't leave....

Great stay!

This property is immaculate, everything you can think you need is there…and then some. Andrea was extremely responsive to the few questions we had, she clearly is an excellent property manager. Location is good, if you’re a walker, it’s about a mile to downtown and maybe closer to 2 miles to Canyon Road.

Christmas in Santa Fe

We had a great time here at Casa De Mean. We loved the house and it was so well stocked with necessities and even had extras. We could have used a couple of folding chairs for the table. Otherwise all of us gave our stay here a 5. We'd love to return sometime.

More seating meeded

Loved the place but the accommodation was for 6 and there were only 4 chairs at the dining table upstairs and 4 comfy seats in the lounge. We would have liked a/c in the upper bedrooms also.

Great value for 3bdr!

Overall very nice. Missed not having A/C in the main floor bathroom. Would suggest doing something to fix the step up to the main floor bathroom from bedroom... I almost fell on my face twice - 5" step up.
