Serenity House on Lake Catherine with Private Boat/Swim Dock
A newly remodeled, 1300 square foot house located in a quiet cove on beautiful Lake Catherine. Wildlife abounds with deer, fox, cranes, geese and ducks. The 'Asian' style vacation home has a 30 foot vault ceiling with skylight at the top.
The loft overlooking the main living area provides extra twin sleeping beds, living and dining space. Both bedrooms are tastefully furnished with queen beds. The washer/dryer and kitchen appliances are all new. A private fishing/swimming/boat dock is available for lake recreational activities. Serenity House is located in a quiet gated community with access to golf, tennis and basketball courts, playground, swimming pool (available in the summer months), marina, and hiking and horseback riding at Lake Catherine State Park.
We are pet friendly, (2 dogs maximum) but approval is needed before acceptance. A $59 property insurance policy is required for all pets. Dogs must be kenneled when unattended with a 4 foot kennel and pad provided if needed. Our house can only accommodate six guests.

Amazing property. All the negative feedback in the comments have either been fixed or were absurd to begin with. They didn't mention the fishing in the details but it was excellent. Bring plenty of worms. The owners were amazing. They were right next door and available if needed. Just bring food, fishing poles, and worms! The house has everything you need. The parking was a little tricky due to the hill its on but its manageable. The only reason they got a 10/10 is because it didn't give an option to go higher. Amazing week!

This was a great place, it was a ladies trip and we really enjoyed the house the dock and deck
It was really nice, clean and plenty of room, the beds were comfortable. we really enjoyed it, it was not to far from downtown Hot Springs and other places we checked out.

Absolutely idyllic
Beautiful, relaxing, convenient. The hosts thought of everything to make this guesthouse perfect in every way. Communication was timely, helpful and clear. We absolutely loved this beautiful, peaceful spot!

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy lakeside home. Although the temps weren't conducive for the water options, the accommodations and view were fully utilized. Thanks for being wonderful hosts and allowing our pets to tag along.

Peaceful location. Immaculately clean!
We had a wonderful stay at the Serenity House. So very clean and had everything needed for our stay.
Host was wonderful and responsive.

Wonderful stay
Well-equipped kitchen a big plus since we did lots of cooking! We particularly loved the spacious back porch overlooking the lake. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Wonderful property!

Serenity House
Our stay was as advertised. From floating off the back dock to volleyball in the community pool, everything was great. Proximity to Hot Springs was perfect. Definitely worth the stay.

Girls getaway
The owners were nice and it was a fine cabin. Some folding chairs and floaties for the dock would have been nice.

Great place !
Such a wonderful and cozy home. The deck overlooking the private dock and lake was amazing. The owners were very personable and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Great location. Well stocked and comfortable.
Stayed three nights here with family. We enjoyed the quiet, the views, and the comfortable furniture and beds. Had everything we needed to cook meals, sleep comfortably, and relax. We really enjoyed our weekend at the house.

We love the quiet area of Diamondhead and the wonderful quirky and artsy town of Hot Springs and wanted to share the area with others. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world!

The quiet cove on Diamondhead provides a Serene atmosphere where cranes, geese, ducks, fox, and deer are ample. Swimming and fishing are sports that many participate in from the dock just steps from the house. Serenity House is located in Diamondhead Community where a swimming pool is available in the summer and golfing throughout the year. Diamondhead is centrally located just minutes from Hot Springs, Garvin Gardens and Malvern (I-30).
