Lovely home with generous number of bedrooms, bathrooms and relaxation quarters! The kitchen truly had double appliances and sinks which made it so much easier for our extended family to congregate and socialize in place for a long weekend. The home is oozing with charm and natural beauty.

Great place

We had a great time. Wish we had more time to spend at the house property. We never even had an opportunity to properly enjoy the game room in the basement

We stayed here for Thanksgiving with 13 adults and one toddler. Great house with plenty of space for all! Game room downstairs was a big hit and the well-equipped kitchen made serving large meals so easy with 2 stoves/ovens, 2 dishwaters, 2 sinks, 2 fridges and loads of utensils, dishes, pots and pans, casserole dishes, etc. Hosts were very responsive. Will definitely return!

Lovely Pre Christmas Party

We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas with four generations. The house was perfect for our large group. Many communal spaces to spread out as well as all gather. The large kitchen table was great for meals and games. The living room was lovely with view of the Brook and had many seats for our group. We had a very special weekend.

Family gathering

Property was perfect for extended family.So much room to move around. Play area for kids. Tables for puzzles and games. Two of each kitchen appliance was a perfect added feature!!Sledding outside and warm and cozy inside. We all were sad when we packed up and left. Eric the handyman was so pleasant and available if needed. We want to go back!!Folks from PA, NJ, ME & OR

Large and accommodating country home

Our gathering of 14 family members for four days to celebrate a big birthday was terrific. This home was made for large gatherings. The well supplied kitchen has two refrigerators, two sinks and two dishwashers. The older part of the house has been renovated. and the new half is quite modern. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms functional. High ceilings with numerous windows enhance the spaciousness. The home was warm and comfortable for all. It has plenty of parking and access is excellent. A great place!

Lovely Get Away

We had our family Christmas weekend and it was prefect. The kitchen was well stocked and great for preparing meals. The large island was a terrific spot to set up buffet. The spacious common areas allowed for multiple activities to happen at once. There was a wide variety of room set ups so different size families had room for all to find a bed. There was a storm and power went off but the emergency lightning made it safe. We had ping pong & pool (small size) tournaments in game room, yoga and puzzling in library, grab bag and murder mystery in living room and board games in dining room. Fun was had by all. We even had time to walk around Town and hike at a Nature Preserve. Excellent area to explore and super property for a large gathering. We plan to return!

Our large extended family had an awesome Thanksgiving week at Flower Brook Farm. Plenty of space for everyone. Would highly recommend!

Family getaway.

We had a lovely time at your home in Pawlet. Lots of room to stretch out and large common areas. We hiked a different spot nearby everyday. Ate lunches out and made dinners at home. We truly loved our stay. The kitchen is huge and had a big dining table to eat and play games. Beautiful time of year to visit too! The dogs loved it too! Thank you for sharing our home!

Wonderful winter getaway

We were there for a week, working and schooling remotely and the house and property were just perfect! Plenty (!) of room for folks to spread out and have privacy and come together around the kitchen and on the amazing property! Thanks!

Outstanding VT retreat with TONS of room!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. The house is HUGE - really the pictures don't convey just how much space there is. We had 13 in our group and could easily have added another family. The kitchen/dining area allow for everyone to prep and eat at the same time. There are enough living spaces that the adults and kids can have some separation. Our teenagers all loved having their own separate bunk room. And each of the bunks in there is a queen sized bed! Our younger kids all slept in the other bunk bed room. And all of the other bedrooms are large and comfortable. With so many bathrooms, no one every felt cramped. The outdoor space is incredible. Kids had fun sledding, and I sent for a peaceful snow-shoe on the property. With 300 acres, the possibilities are endless. I can image that it would be fun in the warmer months as well. The location is great in that you are off the beaten path, but still close enough to activities. There are at least 6 six areas within an hours drive and Manchester is only 20 minutes away. George and Patty were great to work with - very responsive and accommodating. Fingers crossed we will be back again next winter! I cannot see how anyone would be disappointed with this rental. Thanks for a great time!

Family Get Away Weekend!!

We had a fantastic weekend. Loved the house. There was 14 of us and were not cramped at all. Had plenty of room! We are going to make this an annual event with the family and looking forward to renting this house again next year!

Quiet Countryside Retreat

Stargazing was spectacular with no other light visible from other houses. I was glad to have my binoculars for seeing the night sky and such a variety of early morning birds. There’s lots of space to be all together at the same time, or one can be off in a quiet corner reading a book. Peace and quiet in the beautiful countryside was perfect for rest and relaxation and for making new memories with friends and family. A few of us put on our hiking boots and ventured over to Merck Forest, a really special place. Next visit, we want to hike Haystack Mt for the amazing view we have heard about.
