A gorgeous place with a beautiful view! The hosts were very communicative, answering any questions that we had very quickly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Acadia National Park area!

We enjoyed our stay, the view and property were beautiful. The place was clean and nicely stocked. We were a bit disappointed that we could not use the gas fireplace since it was cold during part of our stay. That would have been very nice.

Thanks Beth for your nice comments, and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We do inform our renters that use of the fireplace inserts are not included with the rental in our listing description and in the rental agreement sent to all renters. The house has central heating to all rooms, as well as space heaters, and renters are invited to contact our property manager or us directly if the heating of our rental is not to their satisfaction. As this complaint was not raised by you to us during your stay, we could only assume that you knew how to turn up the heat settings if so desired.

This was a beautiful home with an amazing view! The home was well furnished, comfortable and very well maintained. We liked that we were secluded yet close enough to sightseeing, hiking, shopping and restaurants. We spent mornings watching the sunrise over the bay. If we ever return to the area, we would definitely love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay for a few nights on our family vacation! The house was clean and the views were gorgeous! I would recommend this house it was convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia was about a half hour drive.

My wife and I and another couple truly enjoyed this house and property. The views of the bay off the deck at all times of day are spectacular. The quiet location was the perfect relaxing spot to return after full days in all parts of Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. The owner was very responsive and the instructions and descriptions were 100% accurate and helpful. We highly recommend this home for a base for enjoying Acadia.

Peaceful spot with lovely gardens. It felt like staying in a nature preserve. The home was well cared for and very clean. Two things worth knowing: the water views are best at high tide, as the flats are exposed when it goes out, and you're a solid 35-45 minutes from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Neither bothered us, but plan accordingly if you're set on daily park access or a constant water view. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was well stocked. Thank you for the use of the coolers and the coffee maker!

Thanks for staying Jeff and mentionning the tidal bay! The tides bring in the fish for the eagles and ospreys that feed in our Bay. The mud flats at low tide offer wading birds a chance to feed on the animals that live in the mud. This is the reason why our rental is so interesting and many renters love to experience! Also the everchanging vista created by the tides with the clouds and the sunrise and sunsets over the bay make for quite a change of scenery every hour....

The property was as nice as advertised. The landscaping was outstanding. We enjoyed the fire pit and the access to the water. The view from the living room couch reminded me of a scenic painting, which captures the vibe of this location. The beds were more firm than we prefer, but nothing a good quality mattress pad cannot fix. I only wished that we had spent one more day at this place to rent kayaks or canoes to take advantage of the water access.

The house was very comfortable. It’s very clean and well stocked. The owners thought everything out well. It was a perfect size for our party of 5 people. It allowed us space to be alone as well as comfortable gathering areas. The views were great. The landscape was beautiful. The deck chairs were perfect for spending time in. The beds were standard. Everything was put together well for a shared property. Upfront I was a little concerned with getting “rules”and reminders sent to me several times. However, once we got there and relaxed, the household “notes” became more helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and we are thankful for the opportunity to visit the place. Thank You.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It is true, the pictures do not capture its splendor. It is secluded, clean, spacious and the views are spectacular! This was an annual trip for us to Maine (year 15) and one of the best in terms of location and proximity to attractions. The hosts showed gracious hospitality and we look forward to returning in the near future.
