What a beautiful home and property, perfect for our family trip. Watching the tide changes each day was a highlight. Close to Acadia, Bar Harbor and lots of local attractions. We had a lovely stay, hope to come back again!

Lee By the Sea is the perfect place for families and small groups. It was a cozy place to start and end the days exploring Acadia, Bar Harbor and Ellsworth. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. The host, Alexandria, was responsive, gracious and informative. My family highly recommends it!

This is an amazing place to rent if you are visiting Acadia National Park or the surrounding area. It is located right at the end of a bay and has a beautiful view. Our hosts were amazing with their communication prior to our arrival. Check in and out was very easy. The house was great for a family getaway. It was so quiet and peaceful. The house was well cleaned and supplied for our arrival. They had plenty of blankets and totes for your morning sunrise or sunset adventure. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend.

Was a great location right on the bay close enough to town without being too close. My teenagers spent hours in the tide pools. Beds were incredibly comfortable!

Amazing views every day. Different sunset every night. Great amenities. Location was about 30 minutes to Acadia. Lots to do or spend some time doing nothing.

What a beautiful place to stay. The house is roomy with areas to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals. Great communication with host. The house is close to Acadia. Good grocery in Ellsworth. Our pup had plenty of room to roam.

Fantastic house and hosts - thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would love to visit again. Four adults and one kid had plenty of room, and the first floor bedroom was perfect for mom. The sunsets were beautiful, and the hosts provided everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. The communication was fantastic, and the welcome guide provided by the hosts was a great resource! Highly recommend this place - we will definitely be back!

Perfectly appointed and located home! Thank you for sharing Lee by the Sea with us. The house had everything we could ask for and was a beautiful setting for our 2 family vacation that included 4 college aged boys. Everyone had enough space to spread out and yet remain connected. It was the perfect distance from Bar Harbor and Acadia and allowed us to relax and unwind after very active days in the park. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I spent three nights here with friends in late April. Although the weather was chilly during our stay, the house kept us perfectly comfortable and offered beautiful views of Mill Cove and Union River Bay.The home is exceptionally clean and very well stocked. There are three spacious bedrooms with king-size beds, two of them featuring stunning water views, and a fourth bedroom with twin beds, which worked out perfectly for our group. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into the details, and those touches really add to the home’s overall charm.We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces, with multiple seating areas and a fire pit that made it easy to relax and take in the scenery.The location is excellent, just a short drive to both Acadia and Ellsworth. One of the highlights of our trip was returning to the house after a day of exploring Acadia. The peaceful setting and water views added another layer to the experience and made it feel like an extension of the park itself.One small note: while the kitchen is well equipped and features a large, modern refrigerator, it is a bit on the smaller side. If you have multiple people cooking at once, it can feel a little tight—but it’s certainly manageable.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return in the future.

Alexandria and Adam were the consummate hosts! They've thought of everything: guidebooks for getting to all the top sightseeing spots, a camera for special moments, fully stocked kitchen and tons of seating for a group with views of the lake, really cozy beds, large closet space, and a desk in every room. It would have been easy to stay at the house all day and not felt like we'd missed out on any vacationing. The views are stunning and they vary beautifully with the light and weather. Our room had a large desk with a monitor and keyboard and I made a dozen uninterupted video calls for work while there. Our kids were thrilled to share their own bedroom, which even had blackout shades and a pack-n-play for little toddler sleeps. We came in winter, and I highly recommend for off-peak fun: the kids enjoyed romping in the snow, sledding nearby, a visit to the lighthouse and sand beach, and other walks out to scenic spots in the park (they're too small for long summer hikes anyway, so this worked out for us). To be honest, it also gave us the excuse to spend some time inside reading, and we were able to cook so many meals at home that it made it easy with the kids; when we went out, the meals were really special and shockingly good for off-season (apparently the restaurants alternate days so they can share staff, a genius solution) -- try The Ovens, Peter Trout, and Momo's. And it was really close to a local grocery store, a cute market with sandwiches and local blueberry soda.
