Perfect location, great spot on the lake, great for family, we highly recommend this place. Host was very responsive and great to work with. We will be coming back.

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate my son’s 17th birthday and had an absolute blast! The fire pit was such a treat for making s’mores, he caught a few fish, and the girls had a wonderful time out on the canoes. The home was clean, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and peaceful stay!

Positives were that the beds were comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked well. Negatives were huge potholes in the driveway, a very finicky digital entry on the front door, never could get Netflix to work on the TV even though I got confirmation that I had logged in with my account, also you should know that the walkway down to the dock is extremely steep

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm glad to hear you found the beds comfortable and the air conditioning kept the home cool during your stay. I'm sorry to hear you experienced frustration with a few aspects of your visit. We did our best to help troubleshoot the keyless entry mid-week when you contacted us, and we always keep house keys just inside the front door so guests can use those during their stay. Streaming services such as Netflix require guests to use their account's vacation settings when away from their home, which is unfortunately outside of our control. We're sorry you found the walk to the dock more challenging than expected. The dock is accessed by a paved cart path with a moderate, natural slope that is shown throughout our listing photos. We also appreciate your comments about the driveway and will inspect the areas you mentioned. Thank you again for staying with us.

Great property. Awesome dock which was great for fishing. Fire pit is a really nice place to hang in the evenings. House has plenty of beds and every thing you need to cook and entertain . Highly recommend

A great place to spend quality time with family and friends. The host was very responsive and the house was clean and nicely decorated. My friends and I enjoyed smore's by the firepit, playing board games, washer toss and sharing stories on the back deck while soaking in the view of the lake.

We stayed with our four children. There was definitely plenty of room for all of us. My kids loved the paddle boards and kayaks, and the dock was really nice. Everything was really clean, and overall, it was a good stay. It's only about 15 minutes from Hartwell, which made it easy for take out and a coffee run, but the kitchen is also fully stocked.

This house was perfect for our family. When renting a house on Lake Hartwell, one issue is that the water levels may vary from place to place. This property sits on a deep water location so we had no issues with swimming or docking our boat. The boat dock was perfect for our Pontoon boat. We were able to use the house paddle boards and kayaks as well, which was fun. The kitchen is extremely manageable and offered a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove and oven. As we were moving 3 teens into school, we were able to utilize the closed garage space to store our items for "move-in day". Additionally, in the garage there was a washer/dryer, all on the same main level. We did use the BBQ a few times, very convenient. The only issue is if you have issues with walking or are elderly, you may find the trek down to the boat area, difficult, as it is on a steep hill. Stephanie and her husband could not be any nicer, true southern hospitality!

Lake Hartwell is one of the largest and most popular lakes in the southeast but amazingly it is not crowded. Fishing, boating, and water sports are what attract people to the area. When we began looking we wanted something that was on deep water, had great views of the lake, and would be welcoming for families to spend time together. This house checked all those boxes! We hope you love it as much as we do.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We provide kayaks and paddleboards and have installed an underwater green glow light at the dock for fishing. Not all lake property has views from the house or is on deep water. We have both!
